I think the obvious age difference is supposed to be part of the joke. It's getting at the fact that saying someone's potential for success at anything is dependent on only what you can see- just at a really absurd level. It's what South Park does. They get away with saying, showing, or at least implying things that might be considered offensive, but nobody takes all that seriously because it's done in a ridiculous way.
