What is happening now?

Look at photo then read the paragraph.
I´m Kattie. I am a student and I´m thirteen years old. I study in Abraham Lincoln school. I want to show you a wonderful photograph where there are some nice friends doing some things, for instance, my friends peter is talking by phone with his mother. In the same photo is my friend Carla, she is sitting on the sofa with my brother Michael, they are talking about movies. Also, there other friends as Charlie and Paul, they are watching Tv and they are enjoying the chess game. My friend Alex is seeing through the widow what´s happening in the street. Finally, I´m reading an interesting magazine on the armchair. This photo is wonderful because in it I can see my best friend of the school.
Grammar: present continuous.
The present progressive is used with situations or events that are happening now or around now, for example:
I am cleaning my room now.
She is playing her music now.

I am studying for my history test.
The present progressive is formed with be + verb (ing), for example:
I am studying for match test.
She is taking an English class.
We are working in a café.
