Gutter Mount For Nest Cam Outdoor Bird’s Eye Surveillance View

isn't it suppoded to be mounted out of the elements, like under your porch. not gonna fo much good if it pouring rain or if the sun glares directly on it

There is no hole for the mount to screw into. The base of my camera has a round metal plate that magnetically sticks to camera.

My cameras will be mounted pointing down, just like in this video. However one of them needs to point UP the slope of the roof toward a skylight. Is it possible to unscrew those 4 metal screws and flip the camera attachment section up to the top (so the camera sits up on top not below)?

Does it work with gutter guards?
