HI jack !
I have a few, hopefully helpful tips for you next session(s) :
- Piglin bartering will be your new best friend because you can get enchanted book with them (it's soul speed but that's worthless in that context) so you can get a full enchanting setup if you are willing to grind enough (it's a 1.09% chance but still)
- If you are lucky and you find a fortress, you can brew stuff thanks to another piglin trade : the water bottles (at 2.18%)
- You might wanna check where were some older bases in that area. It's still a possibility that in 2016, underground bases were still there but idk
- Reminder that in 1.18, diamonds generates in layer -59 so you might want to branch mine in y -58 for better results
And for a final tip : Please, craft a shield ! You had me worried this whole episode with all of that latency issues and creeper fondling on you lmao

The whole one life idea alone is a great idea now playing the mod on an older download of the 2b map with a legend like JacktheRippa just makes it that much more EPIC! .
