Hey guys, I know this is an old episode but since we´re talking about lava and physics, you really NEED to react to Miami Magma (2011), especially the tennis court DEATH scene!! 🤣
ОтветитьI love the ones with Freddie or Adam savage, please invite them again
ОтветитьI love when people try to call out Niko and he “but actually”‘s them, in the most non condescending way possible.
Ответитьdamn.. dantes peak was prolly the first movie i went to see in the theaters with a friend lol
ОтветитьDante’s peak is far superior to Volcano
ОтветитьWatched Dantes Peak for the first time last night and was blown away by the effects! Especially when the truck gets stuck trying to cross the solidifying lava
ОтветитьIt was Dantes Peak vs. Deep Impact! Nobody saw freaking Volcano! 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьI have seen both Dante's Peak and Volcano when I was a child back in the 90s and I haven't watched them since the 2000s. Luckily from me that I have both movies on DVD, I might rewatch them this weekend after watching this reacting from you guys.
ОтветитьThe subway scene with the guy in the lava? Even 20 years later I’ve still gotten nightmares so… yeah
ОтветитьPlease, for the love of god, please do the reaction on special effects in USSR-era Russian natural disaster/catastrophe drama film "Ekipazh" (known as "Air Crew" outside of the USSR, though the word ekipazh itself literally translates as just "crew"), released in 1980. It had a modern remake, released in 2016, called "Flight Crew" in the westerner countries. Both versions utilize a lot of actual physical practical effects and miniature sets, though original of 1980 stands out more due to how expensive and high quality it's special effects were given the time frame during which it was made/released, garnering it dozens of awards.
The 2016's remake was also extremely successful both domestically and outside of the country, it's special effects (surprisingly mostly practical, despite them using digital cameras and shooting for IMAX), cinematography and actor play being highly praised by both the professional film critics and general audiences.
Freddie seemed like an excellent guest. He was a good fit for the couch for sure.
ОтветитьI got stuck in quicksand in the middle of an European capital back in 2010, so…
Ответитьhey have yall reacted to “the day after tomorrow”?
Ответить911: Lone-Star with Rob Lowe Season 2 Episode 2 has a volcano eruption in Texas you guys should check out
ОтветитьMy Top 10 favourite disaster movies of all time is: 01. Dante's Peak - 1997, 02. Twister - 1996, 03. The Day After Tomorrow - 2004, 04. Deepwater Horizon - 2016, 05. Earthquake - 1974, 06. The Hurricane - 1974, 07. The Towering Inferno - 1974, 08. The Poseidon Adventure - 1972, 09. The Perfect Storm - 2000 & 10. Armageddon - 1998.
ОтветитьI was just going to ask if you ever reacted to Freddie’s FPS cod type videos back in the day.. now he is on the show!
ОтветитьOk I got goosebumps while watching 2012 it was a great movie
ОтветитьI liked both Volcano and Dante's Peak equally... James Bond and Sarah Connor would've been a better Terminator movie than the ones we've gotten since T2...
ОтветитьProbably doesn't count as being salmon vfx related but I did have a Betta Fish named "Salmon Dave"
(Aka Salmon Dave the Alpha Betta Fish, named after Sam & Dave the soul duo and lived for 6 years)
Freddie: Are you a Dante's Peak man or a Volcano man
Me: Yes
"We don't know who Jason Isaacs is..." << first 2 mins of this video.
Ответить2012 is still one of the most impressive movies ever to me.
ОтветитьCan he stop talking now please
ОтветитьImagine if, in that scene from "Volcano", they tried to adhere more towards realism and they had the guy burst into flames. Death by Lava would be horrific, because you would basically become a Fried Egg.
ОтветитьI remember having a nightmare the night I saw Volcano...I was running from the lava in our home coming from the ceiling and pursuing me down the stairs...I was 9 years old...burned in my memory forever....
ОтветитьThe frist movie is terrible
ОтветитьHe was so right about that scene
ОтветитьWhere's Pompeii?
ОтветитьDante's peak was filmed near me so you know Im a fan.
ОтветитьThe arnie thumb in volcano would have been tits
ОтветитьWhy didn't you view the volcano scenes fro LOTR?????????? They are BEAUTIFUL!! Well I know there's a separate LOTR react but still for the sake of Volcanoes.
ОтветитьLook at the Mothman Prophecies bridge collapse.
ОтветитьI feel like I've seen that volcano movie with Pierce Brosnan, but I don't remember anything about it, at all.
ОтветитьMan, Volcano 1998 is CRIMINALLY underrated
ОтветитьThat 2012 sequence is the most unrealistic depiction of a supervolcano ever.
Mindset must have been “well the largest volcanic eruptions have the force of many nuclear bombs so let’s just make it look like a massive nuke”
The ground is not that flexible to literally balloon up and then explode.
From what scientists have understood about them, supervolcanoes would erupt as a kind of unzipping of a volcanic system, where loads of volcanic vents would erupt.
It wouldn’t be this one huge sudden 30 mile wide explosion with mushroom cloud shockwaves.
The 2005 BBC/Discovery Channel TV movie Supervolcano did it best.
i love dantes peak. i don't care what people say. its a great movie.
ОтветитьJake looks like a cop 🤣
