Funnily enough, my first dlc shiny also happened to be a poochyena! Was reminded of that ❤

Now the only way I'll shiny hunt is through breeding. I like that method best. I don't have to worry about losing Pokemon in anyway. The only times I've not done breeding is for the Paradox Pokemon, you can't breed for those. Also I tried to do an Outbreak, got bored after 10 minutes, and went back to breeding. To each their own, I guess.

They need to keep the textures but also keep the SwSh line art style.

I found out recently that you CAN manipulate the in-game time if you're willing to change the date/time of the switch. You have to completely close out of the game, and set it to one of the time frames (you can find a list on serebii) for the time you want. As long as you're completely closed out of the game, even if you go backward in time, as long as the date is the same, you won't reset your outbreaks. The game time is determined by your system's time when you open the game. Wish they gave us a way to change it in game tho :(

I feel like shiny hunters forget that they can aim and throw the ball. They don't need to dodge the pokemon around them to run into the one they want.

You can actually manipulate day, night and dawn cycles. You have to have your game closed while changing the time though
