I think this is good but, it is kinda self-explanatory, the upgrade process. Especially when here you are upgrading from a new Laravel 6.x install. I think this would have been much better if you could have upgraded a project which was using 6.x to 7, not a new install. Where if you had some issues, you could go through troubleshooting the issues, so we could learn how to do it on our own next time.

What will be the impact of the upgradation of laravel application that was developed using laravel 5.8. Will application work as it meant to be as it works fine in the 5.8 and uses laravel auth.

Why not copy paste composer.json from repository github to our composer.json project, I think it faster. heehehe

dear brother could I have fully crud project for laravel 6 and laravel 7?

I dont know if this happened to everyone else but when upgrading some packages had issues with Laravel7 at the beginning but what i did was removing all those 3rd party packages from the composer.json and installed all that are on the laravel/laravel/composer.json. After Laravel7 is installed then you can copy you packages back and run composer update.
