Nick has had like 4 acts to his career. Started out young and played in incredibly eccentric but well written roles, then went to action movies where he excelled, then went to b-movies that had horrible dialogue, writing, plots, and sets but he essentially carried them and now he’s just performing in an amalgamation of all three elements prior - low budget movies, where he is an eccentric character that’s basically just him dialed to 11, but with quality writing and respectable action sequences.
