Great overview of the 18.2 AI features. I respectfully disagree with the assessment of Image Playground though -- the tagline they used during the announcement "AI for the rest of us" rings true -- besides it being in beta, it's a simplified quick and easy way to generate images. I don't have a use-case for using other AI services, and since this is running on-device, it's allowing the rest of us similar capabilities, but for free, even if more rudimentary. I also think the reason for the images being created in that style is for protection -- even though yes, you can generate anything, it's in a cartoon/drawing style so it's clear it's not a doctored photo. (Also, I think the image playground that's using your own image is adorable, btw, so that's reason to keep using it.) The Genmoji's are game-changers as this gives us so much more freedom in creating the same type of style of emoji we're used to, but with infinite options. I've already seen people posting whole themes of new Genmoji's, and though I don't know how all of them will be saved/accessible/monetizable until the public release, it shows promise for being super useful for "the rest of us".
ОтветитьBit of a downer!
ОтветитьDamn man.1 What’s got you so pessimistic? I don’t think they’re going for high art or lifelike renders. I think the point is they are fun. At least there’s no chance of people passing them off as real images.
ОтветитьHang on. You can make anything you can find on the internet? Fascists wouldn’t have been my first attempt. 🍆
ОтветитьI’m hearing more whining than anything. I’m outta here
ОтветитьAfter watching this, I'm feeling so sad right now. Where are your Samsung videos?
ОтветитьThis is quite a whiny review… I think this is the foundation for new updates and more refined functionality that will come with the new updates
