I have the same vanity, but in a different color and different handles and I have a little bucket that’s on the side of it that I can put things on

The room is super cute! But my brother got his 5 year old daughter that same vanity for her birthday and it fit her good. You might want to get her more of a adult size one. But I understand why you got it its a really cute vanity.
