This software is developed for everyone who like to read and write as lifelong learners, especially for English and other foreign language teachers to support literacy acceleration. It is the main part of ARROWLY (Aural Reading and Oral Writing Literacy) method which ease the teachers to read by ears and write by mouth. The method is the improvement of the former similar method called MenemuBaling (menulis dengan mulut dan membaca dengan telinga) in Indonesian.
You can click the menu buttons on the top bar of this authoring tool to explore and execute the instructions one by one. Several menus have sub menus or sub-sub menus. You can start from left to right and top-down directions. You have to install the tools for aurality, orality, and translation to run the method well.
This authoring tools is developed by Mampuono, a teachers trainer work in the Education Quality Assurance Bureau of Central Java or Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Jawa tengah (LPMP Jateng). He is now also hold the position of Secretary General of Indonesian Teachers Association (IGI). To contact him his email is

Almost two decades Mampuono as the gold medal winner of Asia Pacific Microsoft Innovative Teachers Competition who invented Menemu Baling Method for literacy in Indonesian has trained teachers, especially in using information and technology for Learning, Chemistry, English, and literacy. He found that by using information and Technology the activities of literacy can be supported very well, particularly in reading and writing.
As the expand of Menemu Baling Method Mampuono developed ARROWLY method complemented with this software. The goal is to improve the former method with this new one. In this method with the text to speech (TTS) technology many individuals can read by their ears , not by sight sense. They just listen to the book read by the TTS Machine instead of opening page by page using hands and manually read it. It is called aural reading. And with speech to text (STT) technology, many individuals can write, not by hands but, by mouth because the machine will write down every speech into the languages that is spoken by the writer. It is called oral writing. Meanwhile the machine translation (MT) completes the tasks of both the machines by providing automatic translation of the texts produced by oral writing and support aural reading in the native and target language. That is why he developed this software.
