i actually own a set of gtr ultra led lamps. They are not the brightest but are very good. I ran through 4 different sets of Amazon led headlight lamps and was not impressed at all. These are quality lamps.

Is it just me, but it seems like all the bulbs with low output and poor quality are all from Amazon ? Seems like Amazon is a dumping ground for sub par and low quantity junk.

What about fahren?

I bought two beam Philips LEDs for my 2013 ford focus and when I installed them they worked for about a second and then shut off. I talked to a person at Philips he said I must have touched the led which I didn’t but when installing them they did hit the casing. But not on the chip part. Would you know what I did wrong

I’ve seen LED upgrades not work on LX470 due to their DRL setup … apparently the DRLs run thru high beams dimmed … sounds like the Morimoto addresses that, no?

Commercial vehicles need this too. Please consider nagging videos for commercial drivers as well. Like Peterbilt, International, Freightliner & Volvo. Thanks

sv4's in my 2009 tacoma 4.0 is amazing. All I can say. They are so good I don't need brights. Dims are enough. seriously.

Im running Fahren lights in my 09 avalanche and they are the best ive ever come across. Id like to see how they stack up if you ever do a "round 2".

This test missed the obvious for comparison. It should have tested at least a couple of premium 9005 halogen bulbs.

I guess I got lucky with my $8 led headlight bulbs. They actually are at least 3x brighter than the OEM halogens. Best $8 I ever spent

I just want to get a bright enough LED to see clearly ahead of me without blinding any other drivers. These overly bright bulbs could be and should be outlawed for safety reasons.
Nobody ever does a low beam courtesy switch anymore. Just blind the oncoming traffic and from behind as well....

I bought the marsauto . They worked amazingly on the way to Ohio , on the way back back home they had lost close to 50% to 60% of its brightness .

One thing you DO NOT talk about is whether any of these are Street Legal or DOT Compliant. That is 100% the most important! Could you make a list of Compliant bulbs?

I guess you know that the oils on your finger tips will shorten the life of the bulb, if you touch the reflective surface of the LED bulb? That is why you get the glove.

I replaced the light bulbs on my 2011 toyota avalon limited with LED bulbs. The low beam is functioning properly. However, the daytime running light which doubles as the high beam is now flickering.

Why do you think that's happening?

Can you use an LED bulb in a reflector housing without having the light scatter everywhere and blinding everyone?
I have a 2009 Accord which uses the 9005 bulb as the DRL and the high beam and I want something brighter but don’t want to be that guy blinding everyone with the DRL.

Lol I have those bad bulbs installed in my car right now. I can confirm you cannot see a thing. Im currently driving on the highway with 2 sofirn flashlights duck taped to my mirror and they are working wonderfully.

So all these bulbs have dual beam function? Been having trouble with finding leds that work as both drl & high beam

I wish you didn't compare lux and lumens as if they are the same without explanation.

I run lasfit in my mk7.5 gti and they create an amazing beam pattern in h7 and been running them for 4 years with absolutely no issues

LED bulbs are NOT LEGAL, none are DOT approved, nor are they designed to be used in older headlamps as they can't be aligned properly! They generally say FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY to skate the legal ramifications. Message to anyone with these coming at you on the road, return the favor and put your high beams on and blind them until they drive by.

Any of these scAmazon led lights are junk. Stick with what the manufacturer uses.

i just bought a f150 that the previous owner had installed the GTR 2.0 headlights in and the passenger side is only half lite.

Is this guy still working for headlight revolution? He looks trustworthy ans sure sounds like he knows what he's talking about, but we don't see him much in the newer videos... And I'm not sure about the new guy yet....

I don't understand why you tested all of these in a bi-xenon projector when the video was supposed to be about swapping your halogen bulbs for LEDs. That's the information I was looking for.

I'm disappointed on those styles of bulbs are all dim in my headlights, the only ones that got bright was the 6 sides stick from ironwalls daylight colored bulbs , now I recently told my father to try them since he liked mine but instead of leds all the way down all sides now they have a small led in the middle on each side 😢 and his projector light fixtures are dimmer then my reflector/euro style headlight assembly. Wish you had my bulbs as I've gone through prolly a couple hundred $$$ in changing signal, driving, license plate bulbs and more trying to find the best . Other then that complaint I like your video format looks good

I’m sure the sealights won’t last 10 years but I think 1 year is a little low too, the set I have in my pickup has been working fine for 5 years and I’m just now looking to replace them because they are getting old and dimming. I had gotten these because I didn’t want super bright led lights I just wanted a build that would last longer than the halogen bulbs I was changing every 7-8 months

The 9005 is a single pattern bulb….how are you supposed to get a high beam?? 9003,9004 and 9007 are twin pattern bulbs and have 3 wire plugs. 9005 only has 2 wires. 😳🤔

Since you are doing low/high beam test, does that mean these bulbs are 2 in 1? My '19 Suburban has 2 seperate bulbs. Will these not work??
