My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary seeing Tracy and his band perform in Wickenburg, AZ in February 2019. Our first date had been a Tracy Byrd concert at the Backstage in Seattle back when his first album had just come out. I discovered on his website that there was a message board so I figured I might as well mention the occasion and make a request for our favorite song, "Back To Texas." When the band returned for the encore, Tracy had his phone in his hand. He read my message to the crowd, pointed us out, and played our song! He thanked me for the request and said they loved playing this song but wouldn't have played it without my suggestion, so seeing this performance from later that year it appears, I can't but wonder if I provided some inspiration. Of course they were back in Texas...
I'm sorry that my friends who drove us had to leave right after the show so we weren't able to stay to meet Tracy and thank him, but he and the guys sure made our special night even more so. And thanks to his drummer for getting my message to Tracy and for giving us his drumsticks as a keepsake!

Do you ever miss those Pine Forest days (track and field going to school barefoot lol) ? Sure do miss my momma...she was always there until she wasn't. ( Brenda W.)
