Nice video; we rode in the opposite direction in 2023 also and then decided that we’d had enough of the endless procession of fjord, ferry, fishing village so caught the ferry to Bergen and then carried on to the Med.

Wow! This is the most inspirational cycling video I've ever seen. I'm an old, retired American living in Germany. Since I retired I've ridden twice from Aachen, Germany to Trondheim, Norway (plus a number of other tours in Central Europe). I suppose, at 72 years old, my dream of cycling to the North Cape is passed. But, last year I rode the Baltic Coast from the Polish/German border west to the North Sea without problem, so my old legs still have some miles left in them. What this video inspires me to do (before it's too late) is to at least make it from Bodø to Tromsø by bike. Thanks to this video, my plans start today for next summer. Maybe I'll celebrate my 73rd birthday on the road. Thanks for a wonderful video.

Did Tarifa to Nordkapp in 2018 and followed the same route as you through the Lofoten Islands and on to the Cape . You’ve done a beautiful job of translating the scenery and effort required to cycle that terrain on to the screen. Well done you.

Hi Mike, great videos. It's so good to have chanced upon your channel. I'm retired and have recently gone on two long distance bike touring of my own in Asia. Accommodation, restaurants and convenience stores are all along the routes. I always wanted to bikepack in the Nordic countries but finding water sources and resupply points is a big concern for me. The title says “bikepacking” but the video only shows asphalt roads. Did you use any of the bikepacking routes in the region, like the Arctic Post Road?
