Great video and insights! Would have loved this video on clothing, hair and makeup on theatrical romantics and romantics but looks like you've only done it for a few Kibbe types.
ОтветитьThanks so much for this, just found out I'm soft classic and this was so helpful
ОтветитьYour guide and explanation are wonderful.
Thank you, finally I have a confirmation that I am a soft-classic, I was suspecting it but never knew for sure. I can look really good or really bad, nothing in between.
Can you please tell me if Isabelle Huppert and Siena Miller are soft classic.
When I asked a friend what I could do to improve my appearance they said to "tame my hair". I think because I am a soft classic it looks messier than it is. The problem is I have curly hair and I cant keep it styled without ruining the curl pattern. I was also told by lots of people that I look better with long hair rather than slightly past shoulder length. Help!!
I also really struggle with soft classic fashion, I'm just not a huge fan with how the clothes look, so I feel lost. I want to look good in my clothes and have it compliment my body type, but I want to wear clothes that I like personally too. I find plain, light weight, light coloured clothes unflattering or uncomfortable?
I would love any suggestions or advice.
Yep my body type is super boring, i am not fond of my soft classic... when i was younger i used to draw the fun lines from romantics and gamines. Now that i am older, i tap into dramatics and natural quite a bit. Not sure if i'll ever come to fully accept my type :(
ОтветитьI can't understand if I am SOFTA CLASSIC or SOFT GAMINE. Recommendation is pretty opposite, so it is crucial to understand. But I just can't...
ОтветитьI watched a hundred of these videos and I still can't tell for sure what type I am :))
ОтветитьThis is blowing my mind. I always thought I was either SG or TR but now I think I might be SC!!! If I hadn't come across this channel, I would have never known!
ОтветитьSo much good stuff. Learnt a lot. Thabjs
ОтветитьI have naturally very curly hair and I've always been so disappointed in how it looks although I want to embrace it, and on the opposite end I also think I look strangely childish and over the top with straight hair! This definitely explains why soft waves are best for me!
ОтветитьI really enjoyed the video. Quite insightful
ОтветитьAre halter dresses good for soft classic? The one I just bought tapers slightly, has waist definition, and has this lace pattern that’s not super noticeable. ?
ОтветитьThis was amazing!!! Thank you ❤️
ОтветитьSoft classic is in the middle of the Kibbe body spectrum AND is often the least talked about.
It's literally the middle child of Kibbe.
I'm a soft classic but my ethnicity comes with curly, tousled hair...
ОтветитьJust watched this again for the umpteenth time and, as always, learned something new. Your videos are so tremendously real, grounded, and helpful.
ОтветитьOmg, this video, especially the makeup portion, has validated so much for me. They always say, "Dramatic eye or dramatic lip. Never both," and my face has always said, "No ma'am." 😂 And the winged liner. I can only do it if it's soft and blended.
ОтветитьI'm doomed not to look my best or to wear and do things I hate to look my best. Yay...
ОтветитьI want to do goblin core and five finger shoes but I don't want it to overpower me, I don't want to look boring in contrast.
ОтветитьPlease do a video like this for soft naturals. So helpful!!
ОтветитьMy sister was wearing a sweater dress the other day and I thought- if I wore that I would look too sexy. Makes sense…
Ответитьgirl!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this kind of videos. please keep doing them😭😭😭 we all need body type tips from you!
ОтветитьI learned so much in this video. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьМетодом проб и ошибок я приняла себя как софт классик. Тоже всю жизнь в 38 лет думала, что классик это скучно. Я была всеми типажами, кроме своего. Сейчас приняла свой. I’ve embraced my Soft Classic type, it’s not boring, it’s exquisite ❤
Ответитьnot me getting into the kibbe rabbit hole and finding out 90% of my wardrobe is innacurate for my body type coz I love eccentric clothes
ОтветитьI see the value in this but as someone who loves fun detailing in clothing i dont think i could ever commit to this
ОтветитьWhat pant shape is best? I’ve been struggling to find good pants
ОтветитьWow, this has been THE MOST helpful video I have found on this subject. Thank you for being so detailed because I felt so lost. I realized I’ve been Dressing more natural and I look SO Frumpy. I’m so happy to see that skinny jeans and pants look best on my body type😅 I kept trying to make this trendy straight leg baggie jean work and it always made me look super short and even more round.
ОтветитьBeing classic in general, I've learned that it means that we don't NEED much in terms of detail and accessories, or makeup, even hair.
Our faces and bodies are beautiful enough, and we generally just don't need all the loudness that might suit other essences. We have all of that interesting, strong beauty, already built in. Which is awesome.
I keep my hair in a blonde chin length bob because it balances my features, and I switch my style up a lot, but regardless, I keep it simple and never wear much jewelry or any jewelry.
Clothes wise I find that triangle cut skirts or bottoms of dresses can make us look so tall and slim. For necklines I go for V shaped, or off the shoulder. Wearing something that frames our bust properly I think elongates and balances our body. Plain block colours look amazing on us too. I am not a skinny or thin person, but if I dress in soft classic or classic flattering clothes I 'look' slim. We really are a true mix of both yin and Yang, we can gain weight or lose weight or stay the same, and we can still give the illusion of being tall, proportionate and 'slim'. (I hate using slim or skinny as a beauty standard because any body is a great beauty standard! But I know a lot of us do want that slimming elongating look).
For makeup I also keep it minimal and clean. Blush on the apples of my cheeks, natural brows, brown liner on my top lid, blend blend blend, I tend to use mauve lipstick or clear lipgloss things that are close to my own lips.
I never adhered to the essences, until I started painting. In painting bodies and faces, I started seeing the lines and shapes that the essences referred to. When I'm painting a portrait, the hair, eyebrows, clothing, eyelashes all make a difference when it comes to highlighting the parts of the portrait that make it all tie in together.
It's the same principle, we have to frame what we have and when we do, we all (no matter what body type) look beautiful ❤
Thank you! This was the next step in styling for me. And I appreciate all the pictures to aid the explanations.
ОтветитьIt’s like being the Goldilocks of style, you know what I mean? “This porridge is too hot, this porridge is too cold… this porridge is just right!”
ОтветитьIm a soft classic but I wear a pixie. Is that possible
ОтветитьOh my gosh this explains why when I try so hard to make outfits, it still looks off on me! I need to get back to the basics. 😩
ОтветитьThis is the most informative video on Soft Classics I have ever seen! Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat is big diferent between soft classic and soft natural, bcause i think im both :)
ОтветитьWhere is the shopping list on the website? Can’t find! Please help!
ОтветитьWhere is the shopping list on the website? Can’t find! Please help!
ОтветитьAs a result of the test, I received 3 C 2 B and 2 D/E answers. Am I soft classical or soft gamine?
ОтветитьLike a lightbulb coming on! Thank you so much. So many unanswered questions finally answered!!
ОтветитьCan a soft classic wear oversize masculine clothing?
ОтветитьThis was so so helpful! I’ve just found out I’m a soft classic and this has been fab for me to get my head around all the different styling tips and the reasons why! Thank you! 👏🏼
ОтветитьI loved the video but I still can't help but think soft classic looks are boring. Now I get why I never felt like myself wearing those gamine clothes that I always loved, but at the same time I'm kinda disappointed that I have to tone down my style SO much just so my clothes drape nicely on my body. I feel like it makes me more mature and elegant, meanwhile I'm just a girl in her 20s lol. I guess I still have to come to terms with that
ОтветитьThank you so much. It is the first video that helped me SO MUCH and I was sure I was a classic, but not what type. I was kind of confused. But you made my mind cristal clear. Thank you so much, again. 🥰🥰🥰
Ответитьi still think the style choices for soft classics are boring.
ОтветитьThank you ❤ great video !
ОтветитьHonor thy body type!
ОтветитьThis is the best video for a soft classic I've seen! I actually understood what you were talking about and related to it all. Thank you so much! ❤
ОтветитьOh no I will cry now, because I know she is right about the hair. I have a wavy/frizzy hair structure and find it extremely difficult to keep tidy. I also dislike shopping and therefore I pretty much always look undone. Now, I do appreciate my own body and its aesthetic, I will just have to put more work in this
ОтветитьI thought you did a good job of explaining how to utilize the basic elements of the Soft Classic without being overly confined with it. Classic types can lean toward romantic, natural, etc., as long as they use classic elements of proportion and balance.
