Wish I had an uncle...
ОтветитьYou look like you're 70
ОтветитьHa ha its quite refreshing when someone just pitches how simple it can be. Just stick to your guns and make it work! Like Richard Branson said....if someone asks you to do something....say you can do it and bust your ass learning how to! Can do/will do attitudes are priceless and are few and far between! Enjoying the vids DeBoss!
ОтветитьSays He’s Dutch. Automatic like from me.
Ответить"Meow."
ОтветитьNice video. Glad the hard work panned out for you. Isn't always the case for everyone but having a wife that understands how expensive frivolous small things can end up costing is a big bonus. I'm careful with the pennies whilst the wife is not so much 😉
ОтветитьDidn't know you were Dutch Canadian
ОтветитьLove the vid. Happy to hear more!
ОтветитьGood to save money, but we need to surport business too.
ОтветитьThanks Rich.
ОтветитьI wish I knew what I know now 20 years ago when I was 16!
ОтветитьMy life and yours are VERY closely aligned!
Grew up on a dairy farm, did a apprenticeship..
Only difference is I didn't invest in myself. Bad choice.
Moved to Canada and Worked for Cummins for 25 years!
Good for you and great advice for the young. 👍
Having to go through classes and getting licenses for mechanic and technician work through an apprenticeship in Canada seem like a great idea. Here in the states ASE certifications don't seem to hold the value they use to. There are too many unknowledgeable and lazy workers in this industry and it just gets worse every year, and its not only young people.
ОтветитьGreat job mate 👍🏻
ОтветитьDon’t drink a beer everyday? What about a dozen? Baaaahaaaahaa.
ОтветитьI'm waiting for a little bit more about this. This topic could really use another video. Got my degree in biology, but the market is just not there where I live. i'm 25 in US and I'm graspin to see how I'll afford a good house for my girl and future kids. I love auto, been into it since I can remember but I never had a HS auto shop and never was pushed in that direction. Not trying to make a living in the auto world, its just good to hear how people have "made it".
ОтветитьLove the determination, never quite, don't take no for an answer, you've inspired me!
ОтветитьIf you ain't rich, you're ain't filthy
ОтветитьGood man thank you that's some good advice one thing I don't get is all these idiots that put in dislike morons/boneheads can't believe I guess they don't want to be something in life
ОтветитьYea the new world is fucked. But trust me rich im trying to be filthy and Ritch.
ОтветитьCaulk your god damn window Rich!
ОтветитьYeah, I know, skipping coffee, desert, make your own sandwich, self car service, camping, no drinks, no smoking, coupons, do your own research on goods and prices and it all turns into economies that matter!
ОтветитьWhat a cool bio. All you fatherless knuckleheads out there, this is how you do it.(Where's the tape? Recorder.)
ОтветитьBeing an honest industrious hard working, practical Dutchman is a very good thing ~ for everybody!
ОтветитьNever knew you're Dutch, makes your channel even better :)
ОтветитьI wish there was a love it button!
ОтветитьWork hard, save your money, marry a good person, and keep at it. I appreciate your story and I hope others follow that road to success.
ОтветитьIf I wanted to watch someone every week and not know anything real about them I would watch TV. On TV I can get to
know as many phony people as I can stand. On you tube most creators are themselves and it is nice to know
something about the people who I share some time with. Thanks take care and my God bless you and yours.
I enjoyed your story. Excellent!
Ответить48 pil only cost 55 bucks. Lol
ОтветитьMate that is brilliant looking house you done well. Also shit hot videos only recently found your channel keep the good videos coming 👍🏻
ОтветитьYeah. Encouraging. I'd watch more like this one....
ОтветитьI come back to this video every couple months to keep me motivated. Been working in the chemical plant industry 60-84 hrs a week the last year working on the road. Planning to buy some land from my grandfather with a 40x120 shop on it in the next couple of years.
ОтветитьI couldn't agree more. I didn't buy my first late model vehicle until I was 30 and making six figures. If you are 19 and making less than 40k, you have no business buying a 40-50k$ automobile. Everything about that new car costs more. The money a 19 year old kid pays for full coverage on some pretty little import is alone enough to save for a down payment within a couple years. Drive a solid used car you paid cash for and throw that money in your savings.
And most of all STOP USING CREDIT, especially for things like vehicle and toys, that will be nearly worthless in 5 years. If you need to use a credit card to buy an ATV, that means you can't afford an ATV, I'm sorry, but that is a cold hard fact. I hate when people say "I am just building my credit." Any savings you might see from a credit rating boost it pissed away in useless interest on dumb little loans. If you do business with a bank (or even better, a credit union) for a decade without an issue, and have money in your savings, you won't have any issue getting a loan for your first home.
Your doing awesome
ОтветитьYou are to be admired for what you and your wife have accomplished!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьGreat story, that is one of the only ways to get ahead is hard work and saving not spending, I have watched to many people thinking they have to have all the new toys, expensive vacations and houses and payments to go with it and no savings or investments.
ОтветитьWe need more videos like this. Solid advice for anyone who is motivated.
ОтветитьThat is awesome advice man, and agree they should teach finance in school, and wish the government didnt make it as hard to have things theses days which just means gotta work that much harder
Ответитьare you religious?
ОтветитьNot many people today would do without like you did to get ahead. Too many expectations and not enough drive.
ОтветитьA doller saved is a doller earned
ОтветитьNarcissist millennials won't understand what you're saying. European roots and work ethic really help.
ОтветитьGreat to see some background. And great to see the comments from the young guys looking to make their own way into their futures. Cool.
ОтветитьSaw the K100 by accident scanning through internet this morning. Dug further into DEBOSS Garage and I am impressed! Great builds and some great stories. Look forward to more.
ОтветитьIs your wife short, or are you just an absolute mammoth?
ОтветитьMan I work 2 jobs and still struggling 😩
Ответить👍
Ответить"Start square, end square." No truer constuction words spoken.
ОтветитьVery Good Rich
