These videos were obtained in a Florida DOT public records request and are posted so the traveling public, State DOTs, and anyone interested in how the devices installed on our roadways actually performed in crash testing.
These videos are being uploaded to educate the traveling public and decision makers on the crash testing of roadside safety barriers. My daughter Hannah was killed in a guardrail spearing crash and I learned that @USDOTFHWA had concealed ALL of the crash tests from the traveling public for decades. The FHWA was supposed to publicly disclose this testing but instead kept it locked up behind closed doors.
I am now fighting to pry open those doors and share the videos that have been withheld from the public. This is an effort to collect and disseminate safety barrier crash testing. Please watch my other channel @TheGuardrailGuy for voice content. I will occasionally post crash test videos with commentary here but the primary goal is to upload crash testing.
