ОтветитьThis is such a brilliant idea! I’ve always struggled with meal prepping because I can’t stand eating the same thing over and over for more than a couple of days. It ended up wasting both food and money instead of saving it.
Capsule meal prepping really needs to become a trend! Thanks so much for sharing this!
This was classic ingredient prep, then mix and match. You just did items that are what you like.

ОтветитьYeah I find it hard to eat chicken than older than 3 days so I meal prep only one recipe for 2.5 days. So say I want to make chicken, I will do it Monday morning, 500 grams of your nandos one and 500 grams of your sweet and sour one at one go. Then i will do lunch, nandos, dinner sns lunch nandos and dinner sns. And my last lunch will be two lettuce wrap with one the remaining 100 gram nandos and 100 grams sweet and sour. Then wednesday nigth I will meal prep 500 gram your salmon and rice and 500 gram your tomato chicken and rice. Again alternate. And on the mast lunch, I will usually just have 100 gram chicken😅 and use the salmon and remaining rice for a quick onigiri style at night.

And, as I was watching, it occurred to me that another spin on using these prepped ingredients would be to add some to a bowl of broth and make a soup.

I do traditional meal prep when im really short on time and know i wont have time beyond opening a Tupperware and nuking it to eat while on the go.
Basically INGREDIENT meal prep..mix & match w/ endless possibilities..nice combis liezl
with some fun additions like fermented foods kimchi, yogurt/paneer all purpose dressing, cheese and flavoured kombucha this capsule meal prep can be taken to next level and also fun snacky items like chocolate coated popcorn, veggie chips in air fryer, chocolate dipped fruits strawberries, any baked sweet dessert like chickpea brownies, baked oats, chilled cocoa milk, french fries w/ ice cream (omg so f* good) you get it whatever floats your boat whatever works for YOU 🤤
All of the food looks so good and easy to prep. Im tryingv it this week.

ОтветитьI like the comparison to a capsule wardrobe! This is how I cook but I can only do one thing at a time not organized as you are to do multiple things at once. I mix mine up with different sauces or flavorings such as with: pesto, taco flavored mix, asian sauces, Italian spices, gravy, etc. Great video!

Ответитьi actually do something similar, i have seasoned chicken sliced horizontally or into cubes in the freezer divided into 100 grams, i cook white rice and measure out 1.5 cup or whatever and freeze, i have yogurt sauces and such and all i do is heat the rice and put my chicken in a pan
