That happened to me once in my single player world i finished my house then i went to a nearby cave then the stronghold was right their but the frame had no eyes of ender and i didn't  find diamonds. It was the 4th MC day when i found it

Theres only 1 strong hold per map. During the Battle of the EnderDragon the other minecrackers would of had to of found the Strong hold. Plus with the Neather hub Players can find the stronghold very easily. Because Vech's base is by the strong hold you use that to find his base.

It's funny watching this now near Christmas and hearing them talk about it! That, and Vechs has also revealed his base entrance locations... Including the one right by PSJ's house! Lol
