what is your thoughts on hyperx alloy elite 2, could you do a video on it? my dad just got it for me and it is my first mechanical keyboard. i had picked it out on bestbuy because it was on sale for $40 off. i am enjoying it very much.

I got the Hyper X alloy FPS Pro.
Generally I would not recommend it if you’re on mac. There are so many issues you would get from keys stop typing, to the keys typing randomly. Now the HyperX Alloy FPS Pro is placed at the 100 to 150 dollars budget area.

I found out that this keyboard will get rusty overtime, especially in countries with tropical climate, where high humidity exist. Currently I'm trying to disassemble it and put some anti-rust coat on the steel frame. I have a question here if it is possible to swap out the LEDs since the red colour will be kinda ugly after doing some customizations?

In my country (New Zealand) this keyboard is $258! I have enough money so I’m still going to buy it but…. Quite expensive!

My only question is....is the keyboard hot swapable

Only complaint I had for this keyboard is for its stiff shift key, everything else is pretty good.

I have a full-size version. I changed keycaps for PBT and I really like it.
Original keycaps certainly do not look like doubleshot to me. And the last lighting mode is actually programmable, so you can choose what key do you want to light up

Should i get this down the line, cus i need a keyboard with less grams needed for pressing down, i have a Outemu Blues keyboard, and i hate the sound xD
I really think i should buy it when i can, but i have heard somewhere that it has durability issues, is this true?

Хорошая клавиатура, но я сделала выбор в пользу "Corsair k63" по причине наличия дополнительных супер удобных мультимедийных кнопок, и из-за более привлекательного внешнего вида. Corsair делает стильные и удобные клавиатуры, но их необходимо вручную доводить до ума- рекомендую смазать переключатели+ стабилизаторы, колпачки сразу необходимо заменить.

I wonder how far we can mod these type of gaming prebuilt keyboards.Modding this one to lubed gateron yellows would be real nice .

I have never understood why - besides being easy to pronounce - producers chose to call them "TenKeyLess"? It's more than 10 keys, that are missing?

Are the switches on this keyboard hot-swappable or soldered to the PCB? The detachable USB is already a plus.
