i have that!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHomies out here giving himself modern day asbestosis printing this filament with the lid off and handling it without gloves and/or clear coating
ОтветитьHey, ill preface this with i dont know how accurate it is, but I believe those throw a lot of small carbon fibers in the air. Would take precaution in being around that without an enclosure
ОтветитьSoon, 3D printers will be as disposable as the inkjet printers where the refills will cost more than the printer combo.
ОтветитьCan you test PPS-CF from Bambu? There are no videos online about it
Ответитьpleas tell me your printing carbon fiber without the lid and no respiratory protection
ОтветитьAll those fibers are in your fingers now
ОтветитьYeah you shouldn’t handle that stuff without gloves lol. That shit is in your skin for a long time
ОтветитьCF filament is in practicality not that much stronger than the normal version of the filament in some cases it has worse characteristics than the normal filament. It is insanely over priced.
I would rather step up to asa, petg, paht ppa, pps if you need strength or temperature characteristics.
The CF "hype" is a sales trick to get better markup on the filament.
Why print a cosplay mask in PPA??
PLA has all characteristics you need for a cosplay mask.. a proper waste of money
Bro that is such a waste of money
ОтветитьToys , can it be in multicolored?
ОтветитьCarbon fiber is like armored concrete, if u dont have the structure, it's useless
ОтветитьWhat a waste
ОтветитьThat printer messes up, once....
ОтветитьIs that printer good for beginner?
ОтветитьThat carbon fiber is rubbing off on your skin. Don't rub your eyes
ОтветитьBro said this is 300 dollars ill print a fucking mask.
Ответитьthe spool itself looks like it cost 25 bucks
ОтветитьMe getting it for $30 ;)
ОтветитьSo thats the elegoo centauri carbon which cost 300. So you paid 150 for a spool? You got ripped off or just cant count.. but i am curious about that sharp bend the filiment has to go through and the stiff carbon that may break going in it
ОтветитьAlso when you wear it as a mask, you’ll breath carbon fibre too!
ОтветитьPEEK may be more expensive than your printer
ОтветитьWait till you find out about continuous fibre reinforced polymers like pa6. There is a berlin startup called endless industries and they have upgrade kits for your prusa to print and cut these materials. I think they are from a swiss company called Suprem or Filaprem.
ОтветитьThis one wasn’t in stock and new so I settled for the p1s
ОтветитьDude is literally living with carbon fiber in his skin I would never touch that material with my bare hands. I’ve seen what I can do on a microscopic level and if you’re handling anything carbon fiber filled material or filament you should be wearing puncture resistant gloves at a minimum.
ОтветитьSeeing that you printed a mask: You should look up a video called "The Dark Side of Carbon Fiber Filament" and at least skip through to see the microscopic pictures of tiny spears jabbing through the skin... I mean... It's a mask after all. Take care, bro
ОтветитьCarbon fiber is extremely hygroscophic and becomes very brittle after being printed. For instance if you're familiar with Hoffman tactical AR-15 lower he printed with a fiberglass nylon and a carbon fiber nylon and the carbon fiber cracked while the glass didn't and he's using a prusa mk3 and has a lot of skill in terms of 3d printing. Another thing about carbon fiber is you can get splinters from it so you should be wearing cut gloves. Unlike wood splinters they do not dissolve and can be a potential heath hazard as it may keep going deeper and deeper. I have to worry about this at many job where I candle carbon fiber parts daily. even after doing the layup and deburring it You can still get splinters. Carbon buffer nylon is the same way
ОтветитьCarbon fiber doesn’t add strength
ОтветитьPLA is as strong and sometimes stronger. Look it up
ОтветитьI see your PPA-CF and raise you 1kg roll of Tullomer...$587.00 when I bought it last year.
No brittleness...raw filament feels/cuts like steel wire.
If only they could fix the layer adhesion problem...
You got scammed like a motherfucker if that spool was half as much as the printer.
ОтветитьIm sorry, but as far as i've heard CF PLA is actually weaker than regular PLA
ОтветитьCF is a gimmick
ОтветитьThis whole meta brings me back to 4chan days, when some /b/tard posted mustard gas recipe disguised as a guide to blow crystals... guess how that went. Now "influencers" are posting this shit, and here we are - doing everything for clicks, even if it means having permanent body damage and health issues. Sad part is, 3d print newbs stumble on these viral videos and try to replicate it, and then wonder why tf their lungs hurt.
ОтветитьWdym very brittle, that’s practically the strongest filament on the market.
ОтветитьSeeing you print PPA-CF on aesthetic parts with no function physically hurts me. This stuff is $150 for 750 grams😭 I would love to see a technical filament video with industrial filaments. Not PEEK, but maybe a little lower.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьBeautiful 😍
ОтветитьGuy said "ooh cool high strength high temp engineering polymer! perfect for my decorative models!"
ОтветитьThe dust from cutting or sanding carbon fiber is a very serious health hazard.
ОтветитьPpacf dosnt need enclosure temps like abs?
ОтветитьI hope you got a good dryer
ОтветитьCould be worse. Could be PEEK . Then the filament would cost as the whole printer.
Ответить156,99€ hahaha😂. My a s s, Bambulab!
ОтветитьIs stupid to buy that, brittle, expensive, harmful to sand,...so whats the upside of paying a $100 roll of filament?
plan to print rockets?? because this will not do, lol
“It’s super brittle but Prusa this surface finish”. Three printer brands in one short 😂
Ответитьprint cutlery with plates and cups set. Seems perfect for hot soups. I would like to replace my golden teeth with PPA-CF some day
ОтветитьNo thanks.
Completely unnecessary.
150 DOLLAR FILIMENT?!?!!!!! ngl thats an expensive sandwitch
Ответить
