My friend who lives in Rome told me that you can buy a house near Bolseno for 30k in euros. Is that true? Just wondering.

Ciao Rafael, can you please ask Marco, if I heard him correctly, if we buy a non-luxury apartment, say in northern Italy, being an Italian citizen with only one property in Italy, we pay no IMU (property tax)? Or is there still a IMU but not as much?

Hello, thanks for a great channel. I have plans to purchase properties in Italy (northern or Sardenga or both). I will be a dual Australian + Italian Citizen soon. But the purchase of the properties will be under what Asutralia calls a Self Managed Super Fund SMSF. This means the SMSF must have ownership. I have researched and come to understand two ways ; 1. a Bare /Custodian Trust is the owner or 2. LLC with shares owned by SMSF. Have you done anything like this before and can you provide more details?
