hi anncy! im not sure if this advice is helpful, but i was born and raised in la so i know what it can be like. if you can find people that dont have jobs in the industry, this could help you feel more balanced/grounded. i have friends in the industry who are great people as well so dont get me wrong, but a lot of them are behind the scenes and dont bring work home if that makes sense? ways i've made friends are through community events like trivia nights, art classes, etc... find what speaks to you outside of work and you will find your people! <3
