Masha, a little girl of about 6 years old, she is kind, curious, cheerful, mischievous, sympathetic and spontaneous. Lives at a railway station somewhere in central Russia. In the story, a little girl accidentally found herself in the house of the Bear living in the forest, not far from her house, and makes a mess there. The bear, horrified by the disorder and the behavior of the intruder, tries to get rid of her, leaving her in the forest.
