I recently purchased the Helix LT, If one doesn't care about or need the extra inputs or the headphone volume knob, then why pay more for something you will never use? Although the volume pedal is a bit chimsey on the LT compared to the Floor model, unless you are going to jump on it like an animal, it is fine. Everything else seems to be the same as the floor unit.
ОтветитьI just upgraded from a Pod Go to a Helix LT and truth be told, I already miss the foot pedal on the Pod Go. Helix is new to me so hopefully I will learn to enjoy the LT and not go back to the Pod Go.
ОтветитьSuper video thanks 👍 as long as the Tone quality and the processor are the same, I'll go for the LT.
ОтветитьGreat explanation thank you so much for the information. I think the Floor looks much better but thats not really enough argument to get that one right? i doubt i need all the extra stuff that floor has so i guess LT would be a better choice for me.
ОтветитьThank you for the comparison. I have the HX Effects together with a tube amp. I was considering the Helix LT and didn't actually notice it didn't have the scribble strips compared to the Helix Floor and I love that with my HX Effects.
ОтветитьI'm buying a Floor as my ADHD brain NEEDS the scribble strips (seeing as they exist :-D And the mic pre is also nice
ОтветитьHow are headphones controlled on the LT? I will definitely be using headphones so is it more comborsom using headphones with the LT?
ОтветитьÓtimo vídeo!
ОтветитьThanks for this video. I am a guitarists and I didn’t know which one would be better for what I do for church. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you! This is super useful!
ОтветитьI've been looking into these for a while. I'm thinking about getting an HX stomp and attaching it to a quality DI, or getting the real deal with the full blown helix.
ОтветитьHey man, I also play at a church. I use a lot of expression pedal. Would the LT be ok to use since it’s supposedly not as heavy duty as the floor model.
Also are the scribble strips overrated?
What about audio interface ? Do the both have this option ?
ОтветитьDoes this effects pedalboard have the tones sounds of Cello, Orchestra, Strings, Flute, Clarinet and Choir Praise music? Looking for something to create Praise & Worship music.
ОтветитьAwesome video, bro! I appreciate it. It covered all my concerns about them both. Thanks.
ОтветитьTo answer your last question, Quad Cortex is best. :)
Ответитьscribble strips are also a source of light! I've had a few times where the stage went completely dark, the scribbles saved me.
Ответитьalso, as flimsy as the LT's exp pedal seems, it's actually built better... the Floor's pedal is an overengineered mess---have had issues with it already.
ОтветитьA real quick simple way is, if you make your money by Playing live shows. I would strongly recommend getting the floor. Also as stated in the video if you incorporate a lot of your own pedals The floor version is perfect. However if you’re like me and you spend most of your time in front of a computer recording at home, well more than I would ever play live. The LT is perfect. In addition I took the extra money and purchased a VST, which is a game changer. At home I can run basically as many helixes as I want or as my computer and handle, on the same source signal
ОтветитьGood work
ОтветитьAs a performer only, who requires stereo to both front of house and to a pair of Line 6 Powercab plus, can the Helix Lt route non cabinet block to the pair of Powercab plus while routing cab block to front of house?
ОтветитьI didn't know there were scribble strips on the expression pedal XD
Ответитьcan you connect a pedal that has midi features to the HELIX to turn that pedal on and off?
ОтветитьGreat video, very informative.
ОтветитьI still use my original POD 2.0 😏 very nice video, I am sure a LT would be an upgrade. 😎🤘
ОтветитьNice comparison. I bought the HX Stomp last year. Then very quickly traded it in for a Stomp XL.... And now another few months later, I've decided I want the LT. Doesn't sound like I need those extra free features from the Floor. Especially for an extra £400.
ОтветитьLT = best bang 4 for your buck with hardly any compromises. If youre a touring pro and have extra cash laying around. then yeah get the full Floor. For non pros and hobbyists who don't need a dedicated mic input then the LT is all you'll ever need. Use that 500 bucks for your next guutar / pedal or FOOD/gas ;)
ОтветитьMy worship leader Allowed me 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIs the DSP on the LT the same as the floor? I’m using the POD Go at my church & love it but want to have more effects options & a dual amp set up instead of one. Having the pedal view you mentioned sounds like my POD Go but bubbles so that transition will work for me. Just the DSP I’m more curious on.
Ответитьbro i want to join your church 😅
ОтветитьSuper helpful video. I'm going back and forth deciding which one I want to get. I'm just a living room guitar player but want something that could be helpful without using just my computer DSP profiles. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьThis is an EXCELLENT review comparison. Thank you tons. I personally just can’t get away from how I feel I would use those scribble scripts and things would just be less nerve-racking and easier for me. I came here wanting to buy the LT but I think for the money I’m going the other way! Thank you!
ОтветитьShould have gotten the Helix Floor, but oh well. I can do it next month...
ОтветитьCorrection.
LT has digital output with AES/EBU
Quick question helix floor or headrush prime?
ОтветитьDo Helix Floor presets work with the LT? I want to purchase David Hislop’s Bethel patches but it doesn’t mention LT.
ОтветитьSnapshot replaced the scribble strip. All the same.
