Landscape Photography l The Wanaka Tree, NZ

Beautiful image. I love panos and it is nice to see an image that isnt the usual ultra wide view. I like the way the 100mm lens shortens the perspective yet the pano still captures the grandeur of the view. Thank you for sharing.

Nice images Ewan hope you made the most of it while you were there because some Idiot Vandals have cut off the lower sweeping branch , such a shame, happened in March this year. Not only have they defaced the tree, they have defaced tourism in Wanaka which people depend on for the tourism aspect of photographing that tree.

Been to NZ about 2 weeks ago and have to say that the Wanaka tree is the BIGGEST TOURIST TRAP in New Zealand. Naturally I was not expecting much as its just a tree on a lake - but whether its in the water or 4m away from the waters edge like we saw it doesnt matter. ITS A WASTE OF TIME..............................
