We call it the white truck, and it has never given up on him and we have had that truck loaded down with some heavy trailers multiple times.He bought a brand new 2023 crew cab black long bed 2500HD with the 6.6 gas engine and he drives the white truck more than he does his new one. He is teaching me how to drive and back trailers in the white truck and one day I hope to buy his 1500HD from him. This song reminds me of him and his 1500HD

My grandpa bought me a 1995 chevy k1500 for my first ride as a graduation gift, owned her for closer to a year now still don't have a license and dont wanna lose my baby red hog,
Deal was i don't drive it on main roads or even back roads until I have a license, and insurance, and that I buy everything I need for the truck,

A few days ago I took out the dip stick just to make sure my oil change doesnt need to be redone 2 weeks later

Sure enough it does, so it's sitting in my driveway.

I crawled under her engine the other day, took a look around, lucky Me, it's most likely just a bad head gasket, so ima order in a gasket set, but I've already gotta pay for something expensive so I gotta wait until next pay, then order it in and then wait another 2 weeks to a month for it to come in,
I love my truck, my grandpa said "you should probably start thinking of a new truck" and a couple hours later when I was able to respond, i said "i think I'm gonna replace the gaskets, and what ever else i need to, that way I get more in depth engine repair experience"
So.. now I play the waiting game, who knows maybe ill get the Bondo done and painted, get the carpet cleaner up and the foot boards covered with a floor Matt, maybe I can find a cheap 4x4 actuater, y'know, improve her while shes down,
