If you are advancing under cover of rifle fire from your side you are basically involved in armed insurrection (protesters). Seeing the cops retreating backwards they are doing so in the manner of skirmishing as in they are under effectively placed fire. I am undecided as to the rights and wrongs of the situation, but in terms of responsible reporting this seems bias. When you start shooting at the police you pay the price.

2) The police then is in full retreat when mentioned armed rioters charge after them.
3)  The the police and/or mysterious snipers now return fire.

I remember when i first saw these videos of the ukraine protests. I was for the protestors. After seeing the way the bbc covered the hong kong 2019 riots, i realized that the bbc is just a propaganda tool.
