Trigger alert here this made me cry. When I finally broke free from my abusive jw family aged 12 I just ran from the house barefoot leaving my shoes behind. I rang another jw family from a phone box and they picked me up, stayed with them for a few weeks, they told me they had called the police after seeing my many bruises. They never did call the police. This represents so much thank you for your efforts. They have no natural love. What did they do with your signs and shoes may I ask?
