The JBL has a nice clean bass with amplification on the low tones, the voices also come out loud, but note that if you put it on the loudest, they can sound quite sharp. Also, the bass no longer increases at a volume higher than 60 percent. With the Sony you have a very warm sound, the bass is very deep, so there is a lot of power in it, the basses do sound louder with the JBL, but with less power. The voices are not too loud, but not too soft either. The Sony is also a bit more focused on the mids than the JBL. All this leads to the conclusion that if you like power in the bass and a warm sound that fills the room well, choose the Sony, you prefer a clear sound where voices and bass can be heard very well throughout the room, choose the JBL .
