Actually you can spot a water bolt on a bookshelf, it's the blue book(despite its actual inventory color lmao) with the golden line at its lower region

My problem isnt the waterbolt not spawning above the dungeon

My problem is getting to the dungeon, those goddamn crimson/corruption...

23 dungeons..... 24 dungeons...... 25..... .... no water bolt......

I confirm this method. 5 speed run on large world, and i gain two waterbolt's :)
In my case I always dungeon biom afer snow biome.

Dude i cant defeat skeleton

Defeat the skeletron with your tungsten or plat armor and use cascade (when you go to hell first)
Maybe guns that you can get in crimson hearts or corruption orbs so the arms dealer may spawn and get your gangster minishark for cheap price of 35 gold that you can farm by using a bug net to sell critters for a small amount of silver coins
Its better to have a meteor landed into your world because of the meteor heads that you could farm out because of their huge spawn rate

Must the world be in hard mode???

I have not defeated any bosses and I can’t get far because of dungeon guardian

My dungeon is bugged, it has nothing inside it, no furnitures, water candles painting, and books, just plain bricks.

Bruh I’ve gone through like 25 different worlds and have not found a single water bolt

What world do i need to create?
Normal or expert ?
Small medium or large?

my problem is no matter how many books i break i wont get it ive gone so deep that i get overwhelmed by the angry skeletons and traps

i think the water bolt no longer spawns above ground in 1.4... i checked 60 large maps but didnt find a single one

When i defeated skeletron i went deeper i got it

If your a starter get a water bolt for the eater of world it destroys it

I have 3 evil biomes before I reach the dungeon and the bolt is very deep I don’t think I can get it

Walk into... Dungeon.. with cactus or wood armour.. I get it. Your a crazy person dungeon guardian is gonna flatten you if you do that

idk how lucky i am, a lot of the comments are saying they cant find it. on my world i found it near the surface of the dungeon, i havent killed the skeletron boss yet

You went under the crimson biome. I chose to go OVER. edit: While I was going over, I found a floating island, I wanted to get a waterbolt book only so I could find the floating Island.

This is actually fixed 1.14 as water bolt spaws underground

I already defeated skeleton so I dont need to be careful :)
