A felon can NEVER become a firefighter, paramedic or least of all a police officer. Now a days no branches of the military will let you join if your a felon. Jesus who fact checks your videos ?

There are too many laws on the book that can make you a felon, so not becoming a felon is not as easy as "don't break the law" -_-

i can understand how canada or uk can know that you are felon
because they exchange the immigration database directly
but the other countries is not likely will know unless u bring your police report with you or they did dig deep on you specifically but not immigration though

It is so funny and 1995 I got charged with a felony for marijuana that wasn't even mine but that's here nor there they told me I could never vote I'm never own a firearm or never run for office. But now Donald Trump may run for president as a convicted felon this seems a little backwards

SOME ADDITIONAL THINGS A FELON CAN DO :
(1) Rehabilitate yourself and stick with your peer group!

(2) If remorse for your crimes or criminal lifestyle isn't your choice - stick with people who are into crime. Don't try to persuade people who are not into crime to deal with you.

PLEASE AND THANKS

The peer support certification is a Giodsend. I have a degree in forensic psych but i also have bipolar disorder and committed drug felonies when off my meds. Getting back into my field is possible with the peer support program. Not to the degree I may have if I hadn't gone astray, but I can get my foot in the door again.

Sorry, at least if you're talking about US nationals, Japan and Australia while they do ask about criminal record and are somewhat strict on disallowing many people with criminal records in (usually when they are voluntarily disclosed), no visa is needed in advance for short visits (ca. 90 days). Australia requires an ETA for US passport-holders, but this is not a visa.

Felon here, was doing time in a work release when I got my job, it’s a local gig but they gave me a chance, taught me what I needed and paid for my license. (Not a driver license but a license to play with poisons(not well worded cuz it’s funnier that way)) now I’m part of the ship part of the crew. It’s all about how you handle the situation, plus I just got blackout drunk and walked in a dudes house on accident but a felony is a felony
