Feels like a worse Bounty Hunter

Having watched this for the 3rd time, she reminds me of Joan de Arc, iirc she was burned at the stake because she was too good a warrior and would not get married and become a good wife. I also really think she channels Packsanarrion nicely.

The 1st time I watched this I did not pay attention to the comic, this time however I did. This reminds me of Joan of Arc. She was a crusading knight, and came from a wealthy family, iirc, and upon gaining too much notoriety and fame, was burned at the stake. She also reminds me of Packsanniroun, (spelled wrong I know) of the books by the same name.

Vengeance sounds hella busted for Sunward Isles' Umi-Bozu, considering you can only hit it on Death's Door.

man i love this class, she has some really interesting mechanics and skills

weird, her camping skills benefit a lot if you use religious characthers, but none of them can mark soooooo lol

This is my final addition to my run of just religious characters. Now that I have the Exorcist, the Forlon and the Keeper, I feel ready

Is the seraph wearing a mask or is her face just very polygonal?

Edit: I honestly thought she had a very polygonal face.

I've found this game quite late, thank you for these helpful videos. So many very cool new classes in the workshop. I do enjoy reading about what modded classes work best with one another and vanilla classes.

The Exorcist pairs EXTREMELY well with the Seraph. It also makes sense considering how they’re both religious characters, and when combined with Crusader and Vestal, you get the “We Are The Flame” composition, which is a very well-rounded Ruins party. It becomes Sunday School for those licentious skellies.

I've found that her Crystalline trinket goes wonderfully with the shield you get as a reward in the Incandescent Whisperer mod. The former gives her a 20% PROT buff (and 20% damage) as long as you have at least one torch in your inventory, and the latter gives her bonus PROT the less health she has. And as if that wasn't enough, it also reduces how much she gets hit by crits, and has a chance to spawn a shield on her when hit. I normally don't like advising the use of a mod to supplement another, separate mod, but the IW is so seamlessly integrated into the game it's sometimes only the lack of VA work on it that reminds me it wasn't from the base game.

"The inhabitants of the ruins are leading a crusade against the unholy. They're moving onto the hamlet as we speak."

So it’s Joan of Arc with PTSD from being burned.... nice.

I simply cant enjoy this class, the damage output is low and there are to few classes to pair her up with :/
If her health got a few points and the damage was bumped up with 50% along with a small skill/camping rework it would be fine, but as of now shes kinda lame.

LASER WAIFU MKII

I like how all of Marvin's classes are LOL characters. Seraph is Leona, Archer is Ashe, Lamia is Cassiopeia and Thrall is Sion.

She should be much better than what she is. Lots of utility, but her damage is so crummy (even when you use her marks), and that's only when she doesn't miss or is dodged (which is constantly). I keep trying her, and she keeps disappointing.

All these mods are wahmen....

you don't need to use her turn to clear horror! You can just use laudanum!

He reminds me of Looking Glass Knight from Dark Souls 2.

Since the seraph consumes marks, it's worth considering itemising your party in such a fashion that she statistically goes last either by decreasing her speed or increasing the others' speed. That way others can benefit from their mark first and the seraph is hopefully the one that lands the killing blow.

She deals 50%+ dmg vs marked instead 150%....

This character need so much setup to make it half as good as standard ones without a setup. Absolute garbage

if darkest dungeon add this character in the game well the game can be more interesting to play because exist more variety

So this is the one modded class that I can't seem to get my head around.
Before, I was using her as a frontline MMA-esk hero but now I feel like shes more like a bounty hunter. She's pretty much a Mark DPS and most of the characters I have "thanks to mods" are DPS characters. It's kinda annoying but I guess I can deal with it. I would say the strategy would be to use the guard to protect from backline stressers and less on soaking dmg. Focus on marking the frontrow with her to fully utilize her mark dmg. Bring someone with high spd who can mark targets for her cause she doesnt have enough spd for that. Her position is pretty flexable with 3rd row kinda pushing it so you could squeeze one or two shufflers preferably one. Not much more to say, overall pretty disappointing cause I really wanted a frontline tank and less a dps with support utility. Maybe I might find another use for her with more trys who knows.
