I thought it was a good call that Rachel took Beezy out first. Even without the combat power, he had the scariest potential to take over the game. Mia had a scary start but her janky wincon probably made her set up look scarier than what it was setting up towards. Good game!

How are these two getting on sooo many episodes?
They aren’t good at making decks or decision making, makes me want too go back and start watching YuGiOh or One piece card games instead of MTG 😢

Love ordering $500 dollars in cards this month only to see them all get banned and no longer be able to play them. Out of curiosity, how many people on the rules committee sold all theirs beforehand knowing they would get banned? Always loved the content from all the different channels that many of the people on the rules committee's are a part of. This is leaving a VERY sour taste. There has been recently multiple reprints of these that helped boast the sales of those set releases, only to ban those cards. Deciding to ban cards NEEDS to have a time limit on it. Cards over a certain age should NOT be getting touched. These bans would have been absolutely fine if they were done in a timely manner when the original cards were released. But the fact that you can just decide to ban a 30 YEAR OLD card is insane. Even Jeweled Lotus has been out for a year now and literally only functions IN COMMANDER.

As you have just taken away money for us, I think it's only fair that we follow suit with the support of your channels. I can't actively support channels that just stripped hundreds of dollars away from me. Would honestly rather see those cards printed into oblivion so it is affordably for everyone rather than banning it (I know you have no control over that). Sure, I'd lose the value but at least I would still have the card to play with in my decks. I can't even do that now, so not only did we just get a massive hit to the value, but we can't even play the damn cards. Ya'll need to fix this shit. Whether you come up with separate rules for cEDH or something, this needs to get fixed. The way this was handled is absolute trash.

I am a newer player (2yrs) and I'm tired of hearing how these decisions are done to make things better or more accessible for me.

I only own one of these cards, Jeweled Lotus, which I pulled from a pack so this is not about money to me personally.

This is the opposite of what players need! If anything, these bans should be for CEDH and have a separate ban list! Even then, you hit dockside but not Thassa's Oracle?? That is the RC equivalent of kingmaking...

I know the RC is more than you two, and Olivia, etc. That said, where is the voice of the people in this?? If you want to officiate for CEDH, then make a list for them. There is no point to this and it has only inflamed the community across all forums.

Turn 1 Jeweled lotus, land, 4 cmc commander is a BAD PLAY. That gets your commander killed right away. If people aren't running removal, that is on them.

This feels so out of touch.. just like anything.. people that like something say nothing, and people that don't complain loudly. The voices calling for these to have been banned... may be loud, but that is all. That does not mean they meaningfully represent the playerbase.

Respectfully... split cedh and commander, or get your opinions (the whole RC) out of commander altogether. A decision like this further days we do not need you (RC) and that buying new commander product is a good way to get burned.

Multiple sets in the last year were sold and valued based on these chase cards (crypt and lotus) in special arts.. yet we just spit on the players by banning them now?

I love it how commander Knights will keep extra quiet about the new bans because Rachel and Josh probably ruled for the bans and I'm definitely avoiding buying any new sets or Precons or singles to protest Wizards and Hasbro.

Ban mana crypt and Dock, but turn 1 and 2 they play rhystic study, mystic remora, sol ring and sentinel 😂

Damn I was hoping for Mia and really did want to see a card like that win but rule of thumb in MTG for myself anyway is never underestimate a Rat deck especially if it be from a black deck 😂

You amped up the amount of sound effects to level where your video is giving off more 8 but sounds than my Gameboy did…. I like em normally but you overdosed them so much that I don’t even wanna end this video. Maybe have an videoupload with reduced sound effects as an option. Just too much
