have to heavily disagree on Ele shaman gearing, especially if you raid resto and respec ele for pvp/outside of raid. there are plenty of spellpower items that are leather or mail that go otherwise straight into disenchant that you can sack. additionally a T1 and T2 mix is bis for Ele at the start which you get funneled as shaman. Bis weapons like Aurastone hammer and lok amir share bis slot for resto and ele. the only tough items are caster items with a lot of competition like neck rings and back.

Given that fresh will have shorter timeline than 2019, is it worth ranking on warrior?

Wish they would add blood elves and draeneis from start. I would love to try horde paladin, but I’m definitely not gonna level again after tbc launch

feral druid tank is the hardest because the gear they need is so niche and u need good rolls for bis

sad they don't delete buff/debuff limit. we will see only warriors

Pretty sure Rey pally is hardest to gear, not only are you lucky to even find a spot in raid but even if you do you have to compete with all the warriors for the plate gear. Also priest is hardest healer to gear at least sham/druid/pally have different armor types to fill in certain pieces

shaman shield and windfury from 30-45 is really good, which makes it into ok i guess.

As someone who's fairly casual and never experienced vanilla, but plans to play a Resto Shaman, is it even possible to get to 60 and get fully geared each tier? Surely bad raid RNG could see you miss out on gear for months on end, then the next tier comes out and everyone moves on. Then in a year's time TBC unlocks and raid gear is largely outclassed by quest greens... How big of a factor should gearing really be?

Your druid rating was absolutely wrong ( for feral tank and dps ). Ferals compete with Rogues, DPS wars, hunters, and Enh Shams / Ret Pallies for all of their gear. Not to mention they don't have a tier set for any of their tiers either. Only 3 weapons in game give feral AP, one is a drop from a world boss, one is locked behind the worst rep grind in the game, and the other is a rare token piece which you have to compete against many other classes for. Total trash take imo. I quit watching after that.

Mages should be higher/Harder. There are a ton of Mages, due to how easy they are to level and how fun they are.

this type of problem isn't meaningful in classic. A pre-bis warrior with world-buff is still out damage any full T3 bis dps not named rogue and fire mage.

I really wanted to try druid since leveling warrior was a lot lol. But someone was telling me the main weapon for Feral is not fun to maintain? Is there a really good alternative for that?

Getting gear as rogue is easy because there are always only 2 rogues in the raid.

Most won’t agree with this but, ret pallys are for me one of the most easiest to gear for leveling , 1 a pally ret benefits from all consumables and food , and buffs . They can wear all gear even a cloth intellect you can use because you benefit from intel and spirit . You can use most weapons , not staffs and guns or range weapons, . A warrior will not benefit from all this a mage can intellect buff you you use mana for moves .you benefit from leather cloth mail plate . No restrictions . The only time is when the gear has a specific class. Druids are kind of the same way unless tanking as Druid then Intells Kaka . But a pally can use it . Shamans who use a weapon in each hand also benefits from most just not plate . So a pally can use most gear you get through out your adventures .

Druids because you get a water form and a travel form no mount needed

Now getting in raids as ret is hard like hard normally guilds have a ret pally and that’s it you would have to hope no pally tank or a pally healer and you might get a second pally in .

My fun classes in classic , 1 mage become a boss in everything , warloc same as mages and you get a pet, hunter get a pet level fastest , rogues pvp masters fun to use go invisible stab everyone, druids become different beast have three different was to play , pally god like character hardly die a warrior who can heal your self, warriors find a healer become unstoppable not so fun alone, priest there ok impossible to kill in pvp as specially if geared too healer endgame, .

After 40 pallys and warriors are the easiest to level only two who have to use plate .

Leveling only1 hunters , 2 warlocks, 3 Druids , 4 mages, 5warriors , 6rogues ,7 shamans, pallys especially at the beginning , priest .

Do you think paladin, boomies, sp will get a slightly increase dmg buff in classic classic?

Easy to gear, shouldnt really apply to any classic that you stack 8 of. I mean, sure you will get pieces, but the competition is big, and it can take a very long time if you dont see proper loots on a weekly basis.

Our raid had an overflow of rogues when I played 2019 classic. It included me, and we were around 8 rogues every single time. 3 dagger rogues and 5 sword rogues. Worst part was that the first 2 months of MC was super dry from rogue loots, so many werent picking up much. Its funny because many people didnt realize exactly how strong warriors would become, so our guild didnt have that many of them. Which meant that they got geared quite fast, especially with pvp weapons, as they constantly dropped in our MC runs.

Once BWL was released it helped the rogues immensely, and we started picking up loot. I quit my raiding when I was at 7/8 Bloodfang and bis daggers (pre-AQ).

I think for rogues it's easier to get swords/maces on horde, and easier to get daggers on alliance. Late game around naxx more people will start getting edgemasters so swords will become more contested.

Back in 2019 I’ve easily geared as mage. Idk why everyone believed full t2 on mage is not good. Turned out to be the best option. Dmg loss was questionable but health pool, mana pool, AoE and mp5 was better. Didn’t have to use any single mana pot on bosses. Easy rolls on set pieces.

Played a hunter from 2019 until wotlk and it was super easy and quick to bis gear all content phases. Only problem was that chrommagos xbow, jom gabbar and band of accuria never dropped.

As new r14 system is not that bad, every class is "easy" to gear with r14 right ?

I have to say; DPS warrior and ret Pali are the hardest to gear up in my experience. They’re just so crowded out at the top. But definitely ret Pali is harder than warrior since most guilds will prefer a full gear warrior to a ret

If you just pvp, due to the contribution points system, if you play a few hours a day you should reach Grand Marshal in about 3 months. Recommended for Wars/Rogues and ret pallys. Just make sure to get engineering.

Gearing a sword rogue is a nightmare, especially as alliance when eveey single warrior goes with swords. Horde is a bit easier when many orcs want axes.
