Hi! TBH, I'm the JBL Xtreme2 user, For the richer bass and HiFi sound JBL had it, But more loudness and High treble sony XB41 would be had it, JBL Xtreme2 is more deeper bass, Try to not use EQ for the Sony, I think sony would be losing Bass and would be neutral sound, For the purity I would choose the JBL Xtreme2.. Without EQ still badass sound... for finding Loudness Buy Sony if u bet the Loudness neither the clarity sound of Xtreme2... hopefully 2.3 Update of Xtreme2 is even much better.. For the Sony and JBL user out there, It depends the taste of your ears.. btw, i notice the Sony when play max volume i hear weird sound, and probably JBL would be Losing Treble/Balanced Bcz of Tweeters.. I'm hoping for new Update 2.4 for the Xtreme2☺️

The XB41 sounds shallower, kinda muffled, while the xtreme has richer amd crisper highs and punchier bass.

You didn't tell anything about batery which is very important.

When it comes to loudness, bigger doesn't always mean better

Lol this isn't a fair comparison. The JBL is just completely overpowering the sony
JBL has way more refined, clean, natural sound. Deep, satisfying, true bass. Sony themselves said that their bass is not true real bass. It plays the audio on the bass. Not real, deep bass. If you listen to this video with a stereo you can see that the bass on the sony is not really bad and it doesnt shake the ground. The JBL has really rumbling bass. It shakes the ground because it's real bass.

He sound of the Sony sounds so dull. The bass on is so tinny. The JBL has true deep bass. That is why is sound like Sony has more bass. But it's not really bass. It play itan octave higher and plays the sound of the bass, not the actual rumbling bass. The overall highs, mids, and lows are just more separated and cleaner on the Xtreme 2
