ОтветитьGood morning,
I bought your plans and my chair is coming out great, I am trying to determine what price to sell the chairs at. I live in the central valley (California )
James, staple a board on two ends of the non-skid sheet and clamp to table, works for me
ОтветитьJust found your page I like the chairs how do I get a pattern of them . I know I am 3yrs too late ...lol
ОтветитьHello Bud can you send me the templates I would love to make some extra $ making these beautiful chairs ❤Thank you
Ответитьim interested and new to wood work...how do you cut the back support slats? Looks like 2x4s..TIME: (15.38)
ОтветитьHow do you price the chairs for sale?
ОтветитьSorry Jim, I found it in me Email, thankbyou
ОтветитьI would like the plywood templates
Ответитьwhat size of hole saw did you use for the spacer to the wheels? You mentioned you would put a link to the whole saw but I could not find it. Any help would be great thanks.
ОтветитьHere in central Florida on an island, i bought your plans but modified. So debris doesn't accumulate in the chairs back slats and bottom slats , we took one less slat off using a carpenter pencil (1/4") and much less debris buildup.
ОтветитьQuestion I want to add a swivel cup/bottle holder on my chairs any ideas how to make it swivel in when not in use pull out only when needed
ОтветитьWhat size paper is required to print the template?
ОтветитьI would be interested in the Adirondack chair templates . Thank you
ОтветитьI'm gonna try making some, I think I want tall tho.
ОтветитьQuestion....Can the back slats be made from 1inch cedar planks? I only have 1x12's at my disposal in cedar!!!
ОтветитьVery nice video, thank you. it's the perfect design that I've been looking for. I didn't want a folding one. I've been looking for a fixed one for awhile and one that's strong enough to fit big people like me so I'm really pleased I found this. Thank you. I shall be getting the plans at some point in the future and will be making some thank you.
ОтветитьI love this video. I’m 3 years too late to the giveaway 😂
Starting a business in the DFW area making these chairs!
I’ve always wanted a set of plans for a nice Adirondack chair, now I’m getting done with my new deck, and I do woodworking but have never done a chair !!! Now I need two.
ОтветитьI would like templates for the chair project, if you're still giving them out. Thank you.
ОтветитьHello! If anyone can help me out I’m new at woodworking.
When I was finishing the arms of the chair with Penofin I ended up getting blotches that did not look good. What did I do wrong?
I did sand at 80 grit, could that be it? Please if anyone can help?…
What are my options for finding the lumber for one of these chairs at only $80-$100? I priced out western red cedar and it would be over $200. Wondering if there's certain places I should try to source it or other species I should look at. Thanks!
ОтветитьHi Mr king is this possible to do with the just the template and follow the video instructions. Because I am on Social security bit struggling to get the plans (finance)
ОтветитьHello Mr. King. I really like these Adirondack chairs and am wondering if you sell the actual chairs themselves. If you do, can you provide a link where I could purchase a couple of them?
ОтветитьI would love to have those templates. Thank you.
ОтветитьI'm interested
ОтветитьHi is there a way I could get your plans for the chair sent to the UK please as its saying there not available for sending , thanks , great build
ОтветитьYes I’m interested I. Template. Thanks
ОтветитьI thought that i asked this in a comment a while back, but now i can't find it - where do you find that Penofin? I'm in the Denver area, and none of the big box or hardware stores seem to have it. I tried using Preservawood finish on one i made a year ago, and it already needs refinishing.
ОтветитьI would like some templates of your Adirondack chairs, please. Please email for an address. I think these are amazing.
ОтветитьI'm curious as to why you're using screws and bolts but no glue. Just not necessary? Thanks.
ОтветитьHuge help. Thank you
ОтветитьI’m interested in having the templates. Please and thank you
ОтветитьI really admire your precision i also would like to have the pattern for the chairs.
ОтветитьJames, I always learn do much from your videos. This particular Adirondack chair design is beautiful. I love the thinner slats on the back that makes it very different from the traditional wider design. I have purchased paper templates before, but prefer those that are available in a harder material. If they are not available, it is the first thing I do when they arrive. Back in the day when plywood was made much better than it is now, it was unusual to find the amount of voids that you see in it today. I used to use 3/8" plywood for my templates or 1/4" depending on their purpose. I've even used 3/8" HDPE plastic when I got a great deal on a full 4'×8' sheet. Made some templates with that and the rest was for other projects in the shop. I plan on purchasing these templates if they are still available as I am just now watching this video. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us.
ОтветитьYou forgot to finish inside the predrill holes.
ОтветитьThis video is AWESOME! I do have a question though. Do you have a prepared list of what lumber I'd need to make one of these as you have on the video? If I've missed this on here sorry in advance.
ОтветитьHello Mr. King I am C.Barker from the Oklahoma area and I'm young to the wood working but I have made a few peices for my mother and she loves them. I have just recently made a working table for my garage and that was a gift from my mother since she saw my passion for doing this type of work. Now, my wife love to rock and has asked for a rocker of some kind for the backyard. I would like to purchase the plans that you have for the rocking chair for my wife and maybe one for me as well. I want to make this chair for my wife because she is a 1st. Grade teacher for the Broken Arrow Public Schools and works very hard and I would love to build a rocker for her using your plans. when I watched this video you mentioned you would gift a free set of plywood templates to listeners if they asked. I see this video was made years ago so I am praying that you may consider us for this gift. Wow... this would be amazing if we received this gift from you. I have never done a chair before so this would be my first and it would be an awesome project for my free time. Thank you for your consideration and for your website and what you do for the American people. Thank you Sir. God bless and have a great day to you and your family! Thank you C.Barker - Oklahoma
ОтветитьWatching and all very imformative . Look forward to receiving your blue prints. And your other projects as they come many thanks
ОтветитьI purchased the cnc plans for the rounded parts, do you have the cnc plans for the rest of the chair?
ОтветитьHello, I just finished watching your video on how to make Adirondack chairs and I am interested in the free stencils for it. We have a family woodworking shop and just purchased your flagship table saw sled. We are excited to start a new project! Thank you!!
ОтветитьI don't see it on your web but, do you have or can you make plans for a swivel bar height adirondack chair?
ОтветитьI would like the wood prices
ОтветитьIm going to try with 1x6 wood make tha beauty chair
ОтветитьAre the plans available with metric measurements?
ОтветитьI would love to have a set I am new 2 woodworking I am 68 years old and love your work
ОтветитьNice video, just did not see how you cut the back slats with the curves ??
ОтветитьDo you have templates made on your online store? Would be nice to have an acrylic set. And an acrylic set for all your plans.
ОтветитьI would LOVE to build one of these. I’ve got a little apartment in Portugal, and bought an Adirondack style chair from a big box store over there. It was made from some kind of plastic - like a lot of cheap outdoor furniture. Oh boy, what a mistake! I’m a big guy, and as I sat on it on a warm summers day, the legs might as well have been made out of chocolate….. it gradually melted and dumped me on the floor 😂.
So I really need to build one of these , and so I would LOVE a set of your plywood templates. Thank you!
