When I usually see Godzilla use his Atomic Breath, it’s a hype moment.

In Minus One? I was literally like “…oh no, oh God… run …”

The one chilling thing added to Godzilla scenes in this film has to be the biblical music🥶🥶🥶

That score at the start is chilling. Everyone just discovered that their strongest millarary weapons didn't even make a scratch, and all they can do now is watch as godzilla starts charging its atomic breath, which will pretty much guarantee their deaths. That score is haunting, there's literally nothing they can do, they'll die even if they try to run.

Although my little brother says the movie is boring, and my mom needs it watch it on her own, my brother and mother (myself included) really loved his atomic breath. The spines come out if his body as if he's controlling the Black Cauldron

Imagine minus one gojira as big as shin godzilla, that would be terrifying

Realizing the scientific explanation behind this is horrifying ... This beam contains so much raw energy that, up on hitting ANY matter, it splits it and releases a chain reaction like an atomic bomb. And the energy release in the explosion alone is gigantic, several megatons, which means that it converts grams of matter into pure energy.

I’ll have nothing but pity for Ghidorah, Biolantee, King Kong, Gaberah, Mecha-Godzilla, Destroyah, Rodan, Ebirah, Kamacurous, Angilus, Manda, Gamera, Mothra if they get in the way of that fire breath. It will be a one sided short battle. A VERY one sided battle.

I can't imagine what a Japanese person age 80+ watching this movie would feel. Perhaps something similar to that of an 80+ year old American watching a Pearl Harbor movie.

For me the most striking thing is how everyone stops and stares as it happens, knowing it's completely hopeless

I dont think that minus ones design (from most views.) are scary or threatening, its his evil and monstrous nature that made this movie so epic, despite having a small amount of screentime. 10/10 its perfect, there isnt really any way you could improve.

Sorry this is far better than the pink godzilla ,please give the japanese studio the Hollywood budget 😊😊

I think it’s very interesting how Minus One got popular. Most movies today get popular because of hype, big name actors, and mass marketing. But Minus One got popular in a more retro (and better) way. Its success was mainly due to word of mouth and how people told other people about just how amazing it is. Movies getting success and becoming popular in this fashion isn't as common as it was in the 20th century and stuff. So it's cool how this movie's popularity overseas was spread in this fashion.

And it proves you don’t need 250 million dollars to make a movie with great visual effects. Congrats on the Oscar, Toho 🔥

I noticed something. The tanks firing on Godzilla were in front of the Diet Building, 2.2 km away from Ginza Station. Yet the effective range of those old tanks was less than a kilometer. The movie made it look like they were firing from point-blank range. But hey, it mirrored the scene in the original "Godzilla". And that woman's chances of falling off that train car and surviving at that height would be slim to none. Awesome movie.
