Unbound Gravel Pro Men's Aid Station Breakdown - Aid 1 & Aid 2

thanks for posting this Justin. Your stops were fast! Well done and kudos to your support guy! It seemed that Payson split his aid handups and as a result did NOT STOP, at least at mile 70: one person swapped his hydration pack on the fly and one passed a musette w/ bars & bottles (?). Payson was left to do the bottle swapping work on the bike. He had obviously practiced removing his pack and putting on a fresh one and had it in place by the time he reached his soigneur w/ the musette. Obviously this method works only if the bike is neglected or needs nothing. We have all seen Lachlan taking only a musette at mile 148! ("2 minutes!) I am assuming his held a bladder and bottles?

The car traffic after aid 2 looks sketch. Having to hole shot between cars and truck yikes. I woulda thought the roads would be cleared for the race. But perhaps that’s difficult for a race that could last 20 hrs etc.
