In junior high like 30 years ago or whatever this was my favorite party rockin band. At the concert I scored a giant autographed poster and the drummer threw me his sticks. I put it all on display in my room. I wish I still had those. Mom threw them away. 😂

Not sure if it would be good or bad to see a version of this song by the Presidents of the United States of America do something with Weird Al Yankovic (who has a version called Gump) about Donald J. Trump, and of course they could call the song simply, Trump. I feel like I might have already posted this somewhere 🤔

It must've been 1995 or 1996 when this song was big in Australia. And peaches too. Remember also getting a kick of Oasis' Wonderwall at the same period.

I grew up in seattle and my parents were huge fans of these guys. I've often wondered if the then unsolved green river murders inspired some of the video or song. Many of his victims were found in shallow marshes that looked pretty much the way the marsh in the video looked.

that's the genius in songs like these.
You can't describe it. It's just a journey of stimulation of sorts that you enjoy.
I guess that's something that can be said about music.
It's about mental and emotional stimulation using an array of audio techniques.
Apparently they figured something out.
I just now read what the song was about which is pretty cool, but most people hearing a song won't read about it. I didn't need to for it to be good. That's the thing ... You shouldn't need to "understand" the song, or interpret a certain way to enjoy the journey it brings for you.
