This is some Mandela effect shit bro or this is just something they didn't offer in the hood
Ответитьi used to have play on these all the time back in ny but a lot of them were either broken or taken by other kids thankfully sometimes they were vacant and was able to play on them for a while until another kid came up and asked if they could play :D
ОтветитьI remember playing on one the systems where it was a sonic game but I consistently died non-stop
Ответитьmy local mcdonalds playplace back then had a copy of ty the tazmanian tiger and an n64 one with banjo kazzoie (i think)
i remember one of the stories i had was when me and my dad were looking for the chuck e cheese/showbiz pizza that my siblings grew up going to in the 80s in burlington ontario, my dad couldn't find the location (which probably closed long ago, probably around the time concept unification happened at chuck e cheese) so we went to mcdonalds instead and they had the original wario ware there (it was my first time playing the first wario ware as i did have wario ware twisted on my gba because my neighbour had it as well on his OG ds as wario ware touched later on on my OG ds)
I’m 21 going to be 22 and I remember playing Sonic Adventure DX, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Party 4, Luigi Mansion, that Spyro game I never cared for but still played, lol those were awesome.
ОтветитьI remember going with my grandpa to a random mcdonalds to eat and they had a game cube with mariokart double dash on it and we were playing together it was so fun
ОтветитьI remember the Game Cubes and Nintendo 64s were all together, 2 Game Cubes and 2 64s! They were taken down in 2013 due to no longer working and the Wii never replaced them! They had the classic McDonald’s characters on them such as Grimace, Early Bird, Ronald McDonald, and the Hamburglar! The games on mine were Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Sunshine, Luigi’s Mansion, and Mario 64, as well as a few others!
ОтветитьI used to visit McDonald's every Friday as a kid. I loved to play the Gamecube back in the day in there playroom. Though I hated that it would reset the game every 15 minutes. I think every kid did. They did it to force people to share. It basically forced me to start speed running the games before that was really super popular just to get my fix of gamecube gaming at McDonald's
ОтветитьYo they used to have some McSystems? that's crazy.
ОтветитьI remember this! Although I thought they were play station? Maybe I was wrong. I didn't like the games they had so they definitely didn't have Mario games...
ОтветитьI live in Texas and I remember there was one of these at a McDonalds in Houston and the games I remember were: Sonic Heroes, Kirby 64, A skateboarding game, and Mario party 3.
ОтветитьAt my McDonald's there was an Xbox 360 and playstation controllers
ОтветитьI miss these so much.
These remind me of a barbershop I used to go to that had a gamecube.
My kiost had mariokart doubledash.
ОтветитьSearchlight Nevada still has Nintendo GameCube kiosk not working but still there none the less. I remember visiting them while on vacation at Cotton Wood Cove as a kid I remember our last day before leaving going into the local McDonald’s and playing Luigi’s Mansion I have never seen one before in a fast food place. That was back in 2006, I recently called yesterday and inquired to see if they still had the kiosk in their restaurant. I was surprised to here it still remains, but was told it is no longer working. I always remember thinking through
ОтветитьI remember the GameCube one’s and I remember playing sonic hero’s and Charlie and the chocolate factory on them
ОтветитьRemember them golf games
ОтветитьI remember the gamecubes. I remember them having a total of four I believe, with the games being : Double Dash, Smash Melee, Paper Mario, and I cannot remember the last one. I think it might have been some skating game? I’m not sure. I’m going to ask my cousin to see if he remembers which one it was.. I know it was the one farthest to the right- it might just have not worked.
I’m pretty sure they restarted and they like never saved their progress
One McDonald's I remember had a ps2 set up
ОтветитьI feel so bad for the kids these days that didn't get to grow up in the 2000's
ОтветитьI just picked up a double sided n64 kiosk from a McDonald’s maintenance company earlier this year. They didn’t remember which store it came out of being it sat in their storage area for 10 plus years. One side is Grimace the other is Birdie
ОтветитьI remember when I was at least 4 years old that one of the McDonalds locations in my area had one of these and this one actually had Play Station 1 or 2 consoles. However they were mostly broken or never turned on whenever I went and they were removed sometime later on.
ОтветитьMy McDonald's had Zelda
That I played in the 1990's
At my local McDonald’s I remember I played spider man the movie video game. Also I remember hospitals having game kiosks at waiting rooms too, at least Kaiser did. I played cars the video game once.
ОтветитьGame system more reliable than the ice cream machine.
ОтветитьI keep coming back to remembering this console thing in a McDonald's long ago, but I think it was almost like a table with a screen that you played (don't think it was a touch screen because this was before all those)...I swear I saw this robot character named Hammerhead on a puzzle type game, but it's driving me nuts because I can't recall for the life of me what game it was...Thought it looked similar to Doctor Mario, but after watching a vid about the evolution of that game, I don't think that's it...The game (from what I feel like I'm remembering, but since this was like 20+ years ago, most likely, I really can't recall) played like a puzzle game, like Tetris or Doctor Mario, but otherwise I feel like you were trying to defeat someone and I feel like this robot guy was the one I was trying to beat. Either that or I was playing AS him...But I feel like I was trying to beat him.
Just tried looking up Hammerhead Robot, but go figure, I got anything but what I thought I was remembering. xD I feel like I'll know it when I see it, even if I have to use a fuzzy photography memory of a drawing I did of the guy to do so.
McDonald's was against all manner of coin op systems for years and that included arcade systems. I'm just hearing about these kiosks. Interesting.
ОтветитьNever saw these in the midwest; must have been a rich state thing
ОтветитьI remember one of the ones near me had a Gamecube with Finding Nemo, Madden, and I think another sports game of some sort. I never knew some of them had Mario games!
ОтветитьMy McDonald's also had something called the Touch2Play, it was like a touchscreen thing the golf game was really fun but every couple of minutes, it would randomly reset and saying that your turn is over and it's someone else's turn, also the McDonald's I went to as a kid had this like bike race game where 2 people ride these real life bikes and you have to peddle to make it go and it was like an ATV racing game. Also I remember always hearing the Mario64 song anywhere in the play area and there was this really fun futuristic racing game
ОтветитьI remember the Sesame Street game, Mario 64, and this one futuristic racing game that was really fun
ОтветитьA memory was just unlocked seeing this.....NOOICE
ОтветитьThere was Kirby 64 as well but no one could beat that in 1 hour unless they speedran it
ОтветитьWe had the open season game!
ОтветитьWhy did they remove video game consoles?
ОтветитьYeah my McDonald's had a Gamecube, N64 and I believe a Dreamcast
ОтветитьThe games were Melee, Tony Hawk pro skater 1 and it was some baseball game
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьWhen I was younger going to McDonald's was like an adventure 😢
ОтветитьI'm not going to lie,I look back fondly nostalgia you got thenail right on the head there
Ответитьif I'm not crazy i saw a nes one had the game yoshi on it at my MacDonalds
Ответитьone near me had gamecube and n64 ones for the longest time
ОтветитьBest time was when there was a game kiosk. Didn't always come across them, but when I did it was the greatest McDonald's trip.
I have 2 stories that stick out. One was a very weird kiosk by my uncle's house. It was like a flight simulator kind of setup where it was a TV in an encased console, a stacking chair that was in the location, and a 6 axis joystick, and it was basically never on (though that didn't stop my brother and I from imagining some super realistic flight simulator (like today's graphics back in the 5th generation). One time it was working, and it was Star Wars Episode 1 Podracer for N64. I have no idea how they did it, but it was that.
Next there was one at a McDonald's by my cousin's house. I was maybe 14 at the time and all my cousins were 12 (2007 or so). There was a Tak and the Power of Juju gamecube setup and I got really into it. I get a text from my brother saying "look around" and they had left me there. I caught back up to them but it was funny.
I remember having Spyro on one of the kiosks in my old town.
ОтветитьHaven’t seen these since early 2010s,It had the shark tales game.
ОтветитьThe McDonald’s in my area changed out the games pretty regularly. I remember playing sunshine, Spyro, rugrats, and then Shrek 2
Ответитьi dont know if anyone else remembers this, but it wasent the triple system, it was two single screen systems from what i remember. i cant remember much else from that, but i knew that there was multiple games.
Ответитьthe ones i saw as a kid had yoshi story and kirby 64. wish ours had mario party that wouldve been awesome.
ОтветитьI miss that kiosk in my McDonald's. They had Luigi's Mansion, Zapper, Spyro: A Hero's Tail, Monsters Inc Dodgeball, and Finding Nemo. It always threw me off that they had to reset themselves when I'm in the middle of it.
ОтветитьOne of my local McDonald’s had a Nintendo 64 kiosk with Mario Tennis, Mickey’s Speedway USA, Banjo-Tooie and The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask
Ответить
