Joyeux Noël [Merry Christmas] (2005) - Burying the dead scene [1080]

This surprisingly festive film tells the true story of the Christmas truce in 1914, during World War I. It contains a lot of traditional Christmas music, source music, and some wonderful original score by Philippe Rombi. The majority of the gorgeous soundtrack album is performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. This piece of music is titled 'Enterrement des soldats' on the soundtrack album, and is by Bruno Le Rouzic and Philippe Rombi.

Written and directed by Christian Carion. Starring Diane Kruger, Daniel Brühl, Guillaume Canet, Benno Fürmann and Gary Lewis. The films was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards.
