“Wanna buy a pistol, kid?” “You’ll shoot your eye out!” I’m turning 59 this month, and my generation of young boys grew up with a BB gun in one hand, and a wrist rocket in the other. When I was old enough, I bought a .22 rifle, and a 12 gauge shotgun. Back then, all the store owner wanted was a driver’s license. I did a lot of hunting, but loaned both to my older brother while I was in college. I came home one Christmas, and he told me he had sold both to a biker while drinking at the sleaziest stripper bar in the county(!!!!!). My brother was always in trouble, and that made me want to always stay out of trouble. I was waiting for the state police to knock on my door, for the next 20 years! Thanks for Sharing! 👍👍👍👍

When I was about 15 or 16, my friend and I rode our bikes to the next town over about 10 miles away to find a guy who owed me some money.
There was a new road being built so we decided to take the new road. There were barricades across the road but we were on bikes so we just kept riding. Well...the road was not finished and ended right over some water, so we had to turn back around...lol
Well, we never found the guy so we had to pedal back home. I called a friend's mom to see if she could give us a ride home, but she said she was already getting ready for bed. Oh well, win some lose some 😅

I know this sounds crazy but when I was 12 years old my dad got me a 4 barrel, stainless, break top 22 pistol from a local gun shop. Cost 19.99. Looks almost identical to your photograph. I kept it until I was 17 when our house was burglarized and some dirty guy stole it. I always wondered where it went. This is too strange to be a fib! We both had same first gun!!!!!!!!i can still see the rotating hammer with the nipple for a firing pin. To funny.

I want to buy a 25 caliber pistol. Thinking about a Sea Camp but would just like one for alternative carry.

My step father gave me one of these eons ago. Never knew too much about it. Thanks for your story.
