Get To Know The NZX50 Index Companies | New Zealand Stock Exchange

In this video, I run through all 50 companies in the NZX50 index and give a brief description of their business activities and high-level trading data as of 9 January 2023. If you have a KiwiSaver account or invest in New Zealand-based ETFs, there's a good chance you're invested in at least one of these NZX companies.

The New Zealand Stock Exchange has over 180 currently listed companies, of which 50 appear in the S&P/NZX50 Index on the basis of its float-adjusted market capitalisation and liquidity. A common ETF to use is the Smartshares FNZ (each stock capped at 5% weighting) and NZG (unlimited weighting).

The numbers and screenshots used in this video were obtained on the 9th of January 2023. All details shared have been sourced from Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, and Barrons.
