Now I'm confused lol. I thought John was getting a new van then it looked like Mandy is getting one. Unless you both are 😊 ❤❤ xx
ОтветитьI liked the one withe French style bed
ОтветитьThe one thing I took from this was why the heck are you still looking at motorhomes and factory built campers! You’ve clearly got a deep understanding of what you need from a van! Every single one you’ve looked at had a chemical toilet so your trying to find one you can fit a compost type into so your paying for something you don’t need and is taking up dead space. You obviously need a garage, the bike got mentioned over and over! For 59 grand are you really gonna be happy having it at the side of your bed blocking access to precious storage space? And having to make a bed every night??? What a hassle. It appears the answer is get longer van and build it or have one built. You can get a bespoke build done for 25k less than your spending plus the cost of a used van. Get a permanent bed at the height that works for you, fit it with a shower and compost toilet and have the benefit of a garage under the bed. It’s not like your new to builds, I’m really surprised your searching around hoping a factory build is gonna fit the bill when a custom camper is the best and cheaper option?
ОтветитьHi Both All the best with your home hunting exciting times ahead 💖👍
ОтветитьJohn and Mandy in MHome heaven. Lovely.
ОтветитьHappy hunting 🤞💙❤️
ОтветитьI used to own an almost identical style "Commer" motorhome in the 60's you looked at inside the showroom , lots of good memories . in reality looking back is was crap to drive with no front and you sitting over the front wheel 🤣
ОтветитьSay hi to Richard at Orange Campers when you’re at Newark?! Their van layouts are amazing and I think you’d be impressed (tho I think your bike would still have to be slung externally, Mandy!
Enjoyed this window shopping video! Fun! 🤩
I loved that!! Great fun looking at all the different vans with you. Thanks for taking us along!
ОтветитьThe 19 plate chausson is the best around van for you mandy, loads of storage and room for the occasional guest, good luck in your search we'll be there on the next round❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI had a 1mm kidney stone never found it but it wasn't nice
ОтветитьGood luck with the search and maybe see you at Newark.
ОтветитьThe transit is a fantastic van
ОтветитьYou know what you said about not buying the 1st van you see 🤔 That small A class ticked all the boxes
ОтветитьGreat vlog, I'm now having a look online at all the vans.🚐😁
ОтветитьI liked the first one, but also the one with the massive garage, the Chausson (Show-son). Exciting choosing a new van, wish it were me. Looking forward to seeing your final choice and seeing you make it "your space" ! Take care, Jo in France 🇫🇷
ОтветитьBrilliant video pal
ОтветитьI like the one with the storage big enough for your bike
ОтветитьHi John and Mandy really enjoyed watching your video sounds exciting looking for a new van Mandy what is it “FIAT FIAT” lol 😂 really looking forward to seeing your next video keep safe 😊👍🏻
ОтветитьHave not bought a van from spinney but use my local branch at Newcastle under lyme for parts and have found them to be most helpfull people if they have that side right am sure they would be a good choice to buy from.
ОтветитьThe first one seems great but “only” £20k more will get a brand new one seems worth the extra for full time living.
ОтветитьHave you thought about looking at Yorkshire Road Motorhomes at NEW Tourne 6.4 Campervan 2025: and it's aLso on how Peugeot Boxer chassis and the price £60k
And Peter Vaughan has done a video on that camprevan
Might see you at the weekend, we’re going too.👍
ОтветитьHi Guys. Have you considered a benimar primero 331? Just so happens I have one for sale in your price range. 😊
ОтветитьWe dont have a campervan but i just really enjoyed looking round them with you both, just seeing what you do get for your money enjoy your shopping trip..and we hope you find the right one but with Johns sound advice you wont go wrong.
See you next time..
I have no plans to ever buy a van but strangely, I enjoyed seeing inside them and how different they can be. It was, oh I like that or, oh that’s a bit different or unusual, or handy. annoying etc. I think I would find it super difficult to choose because I would most likely want just something it didn’t have. Good luck in the search and show us some more.
ОтветитьHope you get the one happy hunting guy's
Be safe
Not many genuine people left on this platform. Enjoy watching you both 😊
ОтветитьTake a look at the Chausson 650 (NOT the X650) and Challenger 250.... Same van, different branding
Looks like everything you want.
6.4m, Full width bath (Plenty of loo room!)
Big garage with access from inside and storage above
Dropdown bed over side facing lounge with easy walkthrough access fold table.
Only thing is it's a Ford.
If you go to the Challenger online brochure page there's a 3d walkthrough, Might be good for ideas if nothing else.
There seem to be a few available around £50k?
I THINK there might be other brands with similar layout..... one for the dealers to work out?
Love the 1st motorhome, but I’m biased as we have an A class Rapido lol
ОтветитьLoved this video and looking around motorhomes; I am looking to buy one and am very keen on the Chausson motorhomes. Some of them have two drop down beds and most of them seem to have the garages. Thank you for taking us along - look forward to seeing what you choose.
ОтветитьI love a good motorhome/panel van comparison. There’s most definitely something to be said for day space when you’re full time I imagine. Can’t wait to see what you choose. Such a supportive partnership you are together.
ОтветитьI bought my motorhome from spinneys in Holmes chapel and I can honestly say it was the worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle, they were so unprofessional it was unbelievable, I spent £58,000 and the whole experience was disgraceful, the reversing camera wouldn’t work the day I picked it up and the salesman was suggesting I took it anyway and they would fix it at a later date ! Unbelievable ! When I told them I was going to cancel the sale and go somewhere else they immediately said they would replace it that day, it just soured the whole experience, I would never recommend this company to anybody. Take your business somewhere else
ОтветитьThat A class ticked all the boxes 🤗🥰
ОтветитьThe first van ❤
ОтветитьGood luck with the hunt.
ОтветитьThe first one. THE FIRST ONE!!! X
ОтветитьYou have always been a princess x hopefully we will manage to get to Newark x hope you find what you’re looking for hun x no point in settling for something that will do x you need to be blown away by it x good hunting x love to you both xx
ОтветитьTake a look at a Consort Reef - we’ve finally settled on one after Autotrail - Burstner - Consort. They have 2 Show Specials Reef models at Newark but get there early Friday. 6m panel van with larceny shaped lounge, built in Leeds - outstanding customer service including post sales
ОтветитьMandy feel like as a woman go for storage for bike 🚲 you might regret it later.
ОтветитьHari Om
I am sure you've thought of this but it bears saying that the "tons of space" does't equate to tons of goodies. Often on those bigger rigs, the payload is pants... Great fun looking and comparing though, ain't it?! YAM xx
You were at my local Flintshire dealership 😍 they are usually very helpful there.
Ответитьwhat sup board is it and how much please ?
Ответитьso glad you call it a separating toilet because a compost toilet they aint
ОтветитьI could see the Rapido A class working nicely.
ОтветитьA good informative video, esoecially for those lioking for a motorhome/campervan.
Good luck with the search.
Really interesting & helpful thankyou both. My Lucy campervan is in for a habitation check & failing badly. May need a new camper myself
ОтветитьCrewe?😊
ОтветитьThank you for sharing once again - and not missunderstanding you, using things together, sharing often comes with so many advantages.
Two people are renting a flat 40 sqm each. And they move in together into a flat 60 sqm instead, sharing the overlapping 20 sqm in the center, how nice and what a saving! And feeling like plus 50 % increase for each of the two. And so much less work to do, using just one pan for two saucages instead of two one saucage each, we all know. And electricity, taxes, just one roof over 60sqm instead of two over 40sqm each and so on, you name it.
(My wife and I moved in 5x over the last decades that way, first we two, later with parents and relatives again. Whats the use of paying two flats with two electricity counters (solar on two roof) for three persons instead of getting rid of one set alltogether?(1) When I am in bed in the Alkoven reading, being online my wife has the bigger mobilehome or flat all on her own, she likes that.)
(1 - You don't have more money because of that? Not true - you have more money (and less sorrows), we at least do.)
I loved the first one so much space good seating area. It was mahussive id go for no one
