I used to take a floppy disk from home and go into the local office max and mess around the the mavicas.
Ответить2$ crt we could only dream of now 😭
Ответить“…I don’t know what’s wrong with me…” Absolutely nothing!
ОтветитьThat little lamp clock reminds me of one my mom had for many decades, except hers had a radio as well. That thing lasted from about 1970 up until mom passed away in 2021😢, and maybe maybe whoever bought it at the estate sale is still using it even now. Back then, things were made to last!
Thanks so much for another awesome video! 😊👍
Get rid of that stupid racing chair
ОтветитьI’m so jealous of that translucent blue pc in the viewers finds. I’ve never seen one in person. Just images online and mostly from Japan.
I would LOVE to build a retro PC build with that kind of case. Though translucent white, smoke or clear is more my taste. Something that can sit next to my OG Crystal Xbox
Ghostly and Anticon stickers!
ОтветитьI have the Sima copy kit 1 and their Video Edit 2. I've never used them but they're mint and in the box and I just wanna collect all the camera accessories they made haha 😂 I would have snatched up that Sony mavica and that slim VHS cam because I don't have any stuff like that yet lol. I wish Goodwills near me had cool stuff like this
Ответитьoh! my grandpa had that exact same little lamp clock! so nice to see another one
ОтветитьIn Australia, The good will stores wont take electronics and computers.
ОтветитьMy family had one of those JVC MasterCommand TVs when I was growing up. My mom was particularly fond of it because it had a pretty unique "away" setting that would turn the TV on at a random time for a random amount of time within a window of time you could set (say, 5-9PM), presumably to make it harder for potential ne'er-do-wells to discern if the house was occupied or not. Seeing that brought back a lot of memories of mom making sure the TV was set before going on vacation. Not sure what happened to it.
ОтветитьThat Sound Blaster card and box in the end brought back memories of my first pc and playing Eye of the Beholder, finally hearing all the cool sound effects instead of the pc speaker.
Ответить@lgr. Charity shops are bad in the UK. I used to donate to them quite alot. But since the Mario auction old games have gone from £0.50p --,£1 ish to £4 for any ps2 title and PC. And even more there was a Mario 3 loose for £40 and same for other stuff tripples in price. Their overheads have not increased they just become greedy. I find it disgusting as they get everything free. It used to be very busy but now it's always empty. Stuff been on the shelf for over a year.
ОтветитьWooh!
ОтветитьOh lmao, just went to that second one the other week. Had a BLT at the Panera too 🥪
ОтветитьWhat "BBC" do you think Clint was referring to?
ОтветитьYou need to do a heart racing episode where you straight up shoplift at goodwill!

Ответитьmy parents had those apple server mugs
Ответитьthe clock lamp was worth the trip!
Ответитьan LGR Tries Apple Cider from the 90's video could be interesting lol
ОтветитьGotta say toilet paper being sold like that at a thrift store reminds me of a video game public server shop
ОтветитьCalifornia Young Republicans convention is what those wine glasses were for.
ОтветитьI found over 50+ CD Rom games at my local thrift store, bought everything they had 😭
ОтветитьYour so lucky my thrift store sucks
Ответитьaaahh you forgot to greet the lucky rock :(
ОтветитьWish I had a proper thrift stores near my house.
There is a Salvation Army one but that one has 0.1% of electronics and 99.9% of clothing.
Haha he said balls
Ответитьsuch a relaxing and entertaining channel. its like comfort food with more substance and less calories lol
ОтветитьThat cassette in the tape deck was worth the money on its own>
ОтветитьI have the same alarm clock as that Micronta one, except the brand is SPARTUS, and the screen is red and the buttons are black. I funnily enough paid 3 dollars for it at a thrift store, been using it as an alarm clock everyday now for over a year. Guess it was the same design a bunch of companies slapped their logo onto.
Ответитьhell ye bro, the excitement of you thrifting again wholesome and made me feel good like I was there with ya.
It's good for ya brother. I love thrifting for classics.
Those YR wine glasses were probably from a "Young Republicans" convention maybe. The Y and R look like they make an elephant, the party logo.
ОтветитьReally enjoy the thrifting shows
Ответитьdang what a cool alarm clock
Ответитьno way, i found a mavica fd-73 a couple months ago, coolest find i’ve had in a while
ОтветитьMuch better than a museum ! 🙂

ОтветитьFound a VHS camcorder somewhere when I was a kid for $2 with the suitcase like case. It didn't work but I wound up using the case to lug around my ps3 and my games back and forth from my place to my dad's and grandma's.
