After I've listened to this, got an idea. What if GT and Super are just alternative universes, and Canon in their own right. What if GT the is a parallel universe where Goku kept on running away from his problems and decided to stay a kid in mind forever, solely discovering the wonders of the world and his Sayan origins, as in the good old days. While in another parallel universe, Super, he actually embrace his ageing and his responsibility as a protector of the earth, and reaching into the world's of God's!

Hey Masako I suggested for your what if series. You said in the past that Goku is not a superhero and that's true but I ask, what if he was?

Sorry man, I love your videos and I think that in general your thoughts on the series are often enlightening and incredibly interesting, but I tuned out almost as soon as Sigmund Freud was brought up. I have long been of the very strong opinion that his methods and beliefs are more than just "dated", that the MAJOR linchpins of his views and methodology in the field of psychology are just flat out wrong and I view anything associated with the man who I strongly view as a hack and a total quack to be a steaming load. I find nearly everything he's said about the field of psychology to be utter garbage, and while I respect your opinion with this "fun exercise", if Sigmund Freud is the yardstick and one of the examples being used, then I just can't go along with this, even just for the purposes of fun or entertainment.

18 and 17 is Teens Rebellion 17 and 18 is that age when you think about it and they want get away from there dad control

Gohan and Goku story is that it his time to grow up and be aduld and his father understand that his kid will grow up to be an adult in his own way not a fighter it coming of age story

Vegeta and Trunks is about Acceptance of being a parents and the responsibility

and Cell in a way is Goku and all the others Z Fighters son, He want to get there acknowledgement, that why he want to beat them in fair fight, He is that kid who want to proff himself to his dad no matter what

What if the (main) GT villains were in DBS?

As much as I like the idea of this segment and appreciate MasakoX and Haverok's efforts, I will say frankly that I'm not convinced either of them have any of Jung's work at all.

This is way more difficult stuff than anything MasakoX has handled on his channal before, so he has my respect and sympathy for even bringing them up, so I would love to see this series continue if I can be assured that proper respect is been paid to the source material instead of relying on secondhand references.

It’d be really cool to see a psychological analysis of each character, namely the Z-fighters and big bads. I’d especially love to see an analysis each of Cell and Buu’s forms. Yes they’re all the same characters technically, but it’s curious to see just how differently they operate on a psychological level, especially when it comes to their motivations and tactics.

If you sit down Toriyama for that kind of interview, he'll simply make up the answers as he goes along.

Hey Masako I have a good idea for a what if. And that is what if Goku and Broly both got sent to earth. Because as we know they were born on the same day. So if Broly was a little weaker why not send them both to earth.

Masako, I don't know if you do request but I was wondering do you think you can do a video on Vegeta and a normal Saiyan's psyche. I was talking to someone about Vegeta's character development and they said that there is too many plot holes in his development and how he acts to humanly.

I have to disagree about the end where you say Goku regresses back into a child like state and runs away from his problems. Time and time again only Goku is capable of defeating the bad guy, succeeding at protecting the Earth from a threat. Without Goku, everyone is screwed. We even see this when Gohan kills Cell. Without Goku's support, Gohan was all but ready to give up and admit defeat. And in the movie Bojack unbound, we again see Gohan as Earth's last defense and again, if not for Goku breaking the rules for a second to save and encourage his son, Gohan again would have lost. It would make sense for Goku to realize this and take on the role of training someone who can take his place and be effective at it when he is no longer around to protect the Earth from its next threat. It's essential and only Goku can fill this important role of training the one to eventually take his place.

Oooohhhhh nooooooooo, not Frued. The man was a fraud. His entire methodology is full of holes and he set the field back literal decades. Hell, he didn't even believe his own theories. His entire idea was centered around repressed memories and associations, but he outright refuted all of it in just one statement: "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."
