Tropical storm Pepito, internationally named Man-Yi, has intensified into a super typhoon, unleashing its fury as it approaches the Bicol Region in the Philippines. As of 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, Pepito was located approximately 185 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar. With maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour and gusts reaching up to 230 kilometers per hour, the storm is on course to bring catastrophic impacts to the country, with coastal communities bracing for its full onslaught.
