How to use if else in a Bash script for IP pinging on Ubuntu 21.04

It isn't working for disconnected ping

How can we execute this .sh file from one tool
Suppose I am using one tool and from that tool I need to send ping command after some time period and parallelly I am doing other execution with same tool but in side i want to send ping command also
Can you help me please
