Hart to Gray was as lethal as any QB/WR combo in the league at that time.

The Cards could never get past the Cowboys even when they won the division. Case in point: Losing to the Rams in the 1975 playoff game 35-23 after winning the division over 2nd place Dallas and then seeing the Cowboys dismantle the same Rams team 37-7 in the championship game must have been unreal. Jim Hart might be in the NFL HOF had he won a playoff game.

Don Coryell created two high octane offenses in the NFL: The Chargers and the Cardinals 🔥

The St. Louis Cardinals won the NFC East Division in 1974 by taking both games they played with the Washington Redskins considering that both the Cardinals and Redskins finished with identical 10-4 records.

The Cardinals prize for being the 1974 NFC East Division Champions, a trip to Bloomington for a date with the Minnesota Vikings under an intense snowfall as St. Louis lost the game 30-14.

I love these classics. Recall getting Mike Phipps autograph one time. Chip Glass. Love the music they play, gives it drama and suspense. Real musicians employed by Steve Sabol. Pretty creative. Good reminiscing some of these old games and then it’s like yeah I remember those players.

I miss watching those games with my dad, grandpa and uncles. I'm the last remaining Big Red fan in my family...
